What new release games are you planning on picking up this year or next year? I just got into the PS4 and was thinking about picking up The Evil Within sometime this week. My girlfriend preordered the new Borderlands. What upcoming/new games are you all interested in? |

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is first and foremost on my list. I rarely pass up anything related to Halo. When 5 comes out in the fall of 2015, I don't care what it takes, I'm going to be waiting in line for it at the midnight release. For the last one Gamestop had a tournament going at the Armed Forces building next door, and that was pretty sweet, so I hope they (or Best Buy) have something similar again for 5. Evolve and Assassins Creed: Unity are must-haves for multiplayer fiends like the people in my house. They'll keep us busy together for a good while. My friend will pick up Mortal Kombat X; we can't deny ourselves a good fighting game. We played the s*** out of Injustice and got really good at it...and then we got bored. I'll pick up Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to continue the tradition of online trolling. I know I'm going to hate the game but it's my guilty pleasure in the video game world. I turn to it when I'm too infuriated or bored with my other games. I'm not sure what we're getting for the PS4. Even though we've got more than one, my friend is the only guy that's got one open in his room, and the rest are sitting in their boxes. Me and my woman will have to buy an X1 from him so we can all play online together because, ya know, game developers don't know what split-screen is anymore. tl;dr - Halo: Master Chief Collection - Halo 5 - Evolve - Assassins Creed: Unity - Mortal Kombat X - Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Edited by Pyrus, Oct 14 2014, 02:13 PM.

Oh boy, enough games to make me have to go without food for a while next year  In no particular order: Phantom Pain The Witcher 3 Order 1886 Everybody's Gone To Rapture Hoping for Skyrim and Fallout remasters, mostly Skyrim Far Cry 4 ...Battlefield Hardline, I guess, for something to do The Division is a definite maybe Arkham Knight is also a maybe Final Fantasy XV Bloodborne Uncharted 4 though I've not played much of the others XD No Mans Sky Dying Light Dead Island 2 Evolve Mad Max Rise of the Tomb Raider Star Wars Battlefront Tales of Zestiria H1Z1 Hopefully DayZ on PS4 Holy s*** my wallet, someone help  Not all of those are confirmed 2015 and there could be delays but most of them are expected 2015 at least. Looks like I'll need to plan on winning the lottery or robbing a bank perhaps. Certainly looks better than recent gaming years. |

No love for LittleBigPlanet 3 In all honesty, not looking forward to any games aside from LBP3. Mostly because the others get hyped to no frickin' end. Ruins it, just look at what happened to Watchdogs or Destiny. Only game from Playstation that didn't get super-hyped was Infamous, which turned out to be iight. I'll be looking out for Dragonball Xenoverse, but I'm not getting my hopes up. |

Not sure if it's confirmed 2015 but it was on the list. Sure hope it is loved Battlefront 1 and 2. Is Silent Hills confirmed for 2015? I thought it was just an announcement with no clear date. Not sure about that one it looks really creepy. Can see horror games getting really disturbing now, more realistic looking graphics are going to be way more nightmare inducing than say the original Resident Evil's graphics... I'm hyped for Silent Hills but I'd need to see some gameplay first, don't want it to be first person for one thing. Forgot about Deep Down that looks like a cool game too. |

There's a playable trailer for Silent Hills (called P.T.) on the playstation network. I played it the day it came out, and it was pretty awesome. It's like a really long demo/trailer. |

Yeah I've played it, I just hope the game isn't like that. Not much point dangling Norman Reedus there as bait for Walking Dead fans if it's first person. They made every edfort to hide his face until the end so I think that's a good indication that their intention isn't definitely first person. First person mode would be great though some of the camera angles in previous games have been awful Mostly I hope it's not like Downpour, too easy all you had to do in that one was grab a fire extinguisher and you could beat up most threats. |

All I can really think of is Pokemon ORAS I'm really excited for it, with all the new mega evos, seeing Hoenn in 3D, the remixes of music, the return of secret bases and etc. The whole overworld flight thing has gotten me particularly excited. I've always liked detailed maps, especially pokemon maps. Often I've searched up and just gazed at the maps of Pokemon, whether in game, official artwork, or maps that have all the in game screens patched together. I'm also think the Minecraft Kanto region mod/map (or whatever) is really cool, being able to walk through the whole region and seeing all the landmarks, even from far away. The overworld flying is something I've always wanted, and I think being able to look around at the whole region of Hoenn will be fascinating, and I look forward to it a lot. Edit: Oh yeah also Star Wars Battlefront 3! I hope it comes out for PC though. If not I might not be able to get it. Edited by Rogafufuken, Oct 15 2014, 03:23 AM.
