Yes I think maybe a little too much. I felt too much happened in that movie. There are always a certain point in most of the star wars movie that just kills the movie for a little bit. You know make it boring but I think the empire strikes back was so entertaining from beginning to end

The Empire Strikes Back. It took all of the aspects that made the first movie memorable and managed to improve all of them.

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Initially: Star Wars: A New Hope

Majority of When I was a kid: Return of the Jedi -- The triple front assault against the Empire: Luke vs. Vader, Starfleet battle, and the Rebels vs. Stormtroopers (and ewoks)

When I was a teenager: Revenge of the Sith -- 5 lightsaber duels including the best one in the whole series, and it has an Oedipus Rex feel

Now: Empire Strikes Back -- Improved everything from the Original: Better Lightsaber duel, Better Milennium Falcon maneuvering, Better Vader, Better Force

Later: Who Knows?

We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Revenge of sith was my favorite when I was younger. I for some reason have more of a liking for episode V now. a new hope was a classic to me. one of the better star wars. return of the jedi was good. good ending to a good saga. some of it was boring I did not care for the ewoks too much. a lot of people do not seem to like episode I and II too much.

The Last GT Fighter

ROTJ, with Empire and Clones as a close second. Green Saber, Golden Bikini, giant Crusier battle? Battle of Endor was the Conflict to end all Galatcic Conflicts (Except that it wasn't but whever)

Star Wars A New Hope is truly one of the best and most classic Star Wars movies. The reason why it hasn't been one of my favorites in a while is because I've seen the movies a lot, a lot of times. Since A New Hope introduces all of the characters and background, it's not as entertaining for me to re-watch because I already know all of that stuff.

I still really love it though.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I'm not surprised I'm the only person to go for Episode I :p close behind Episode III and then the one with Hoth, always had a soft spot for that one after playing the N46 game.

What is so bad about the newer movies really?
Jar-Jar obviously but other than him?

The love story was lame yeah but it beats twincest.

Is it just that it suddenly used so much CGI? I don't see why people should be so critical over that times change and with it the choreography massively improved, in III Hayden and Ewan do their whole fight scene without holding any kind of pretend lightsaber like in the older movies.
In that respect, well acted. Cast is fairly solid too overall only really Hayden and Natalie stood out as all that bad to me.

Maybe they weren't the best movies in the world but I really don't get why people hate on them so much, it like 95% seems to be nostalgia, most people arguing for the older movies grew up with them which apparently makes them superior.

return of the jedi for me. I like em all pretty well evenly. Even attack of the clones I thought was good (even though every man and his dog hates it) but return of the jedi I feel was a great closure (even though they wrote the prequels well afterwards)

I agree.

My problem with ROTJ is the childish Ewoks fighting in the war at the end. Rebel troops and Wookies, bro... That's what the concluding war needed.
