Izanagi!

In recent times, a lot of people have opted to take an arguably narrow view of life, living day-to-day while focusing almost solely on their professions and their families. As such, an important question arises; what place does Philosophy have in today's world?

waht. how does that question arise?

logic, epistemology, moral philosophy: these are probably the most applicable. u science boffins will agree on that. hell, it even applies to philosophy of language, religion..... law (politics, anyone????), and pretty much any decision ever made by anyone ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever

then u have s*** like metaphysics, aesthetics, and a bunch of other s***.

tl;dr: ofc it's still relevent. the real question is where isnt it relevent??????????????

Buubs nailed it. Philosophy is life pretty much and affects our decisions. You might not realize it, but everybody lives by some form of philosophy

I just watched God's Not Dead last week.

It doesn't matter anymore.

Your example here sounds like a philosophy in itself. The philosophy being work hard, live well; or happy wife, happy life! Not to mention, everyone lives by a philosophy in one aspect or another. It may not be conventional or complicated as some philosophies are, but they philosophise their lives in some way, shape or form. Everybody's different, mate!
