As such, an important question arises; what place does Philosophy have in today's world? Your example here sounds like a philosophy in itself. The philosophy being work hard, live well; or happy wife, happy life! Not to mention, everyone lives by a philosophy in one aspect or another. It may not be conventional or complicated as some philosophies are, but they philosophise their lives in some way, shape or form. Everybody's different, mate!
