This is mine and has been for a little while. I really enjoy it because along with him obviously being a good orator the message of this speech is so deep, and obviously even more-so when it was delivered. Along with fulfilling the purpose of informing the people of Indianapolis that MLK had been killed he calmed an entire major city by one 5 minute speech. I don't know, but when I see a speech like this I can truly see someone who is strong and there aren't many people who truly fit that description. What's yours and why? |

Clearly drunk off his a***, he still manages to deliver one of the most famous speeches of all time. Possibly because of his drunken slurring? Regardless, this speech represents all the grit and stubbornness of the United Kingdom's war effort. We were outgunned and outnumbered but we were not about to surrender anytime soon. We kept fighting and with our spirit, determination and ingenuity we ended up winning. |

Does it have to be a real person who made the speech? Or are you also including fictional characters? I don't generally listen to speeches from politicians or public figures, never able to stay focused. |

Might sounds like a cliché but Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech is still what made the best impression on me until this day. |

Gotta go with two right now. Forgive me if this first one seems a bit obvious. And though I could post Pacino's speech from the end of Devil's Advocate (I'M A FAN'A MAHN!), or Heath Ledger as the Joker, I gotta go with one of the greats. |
