Cool. So theirs 7 ways to play Wii U Smash correct? (Those options being the Gamepad, Wii Remote on it's own, Wii Remote with a Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Pro Controller, GameCube Controller via an adapter, and now a 3DS). |

Now, if they could make the Gamecube controller work for Smash Bros for 3DS... |

They'd probably have to make a circle pad pro-like accessory that has a GC port. That'd sell

Release a 3DS with bluetooth and make the Gamecube controller have bt too. That'd be cool. |

But wouldn't that eliminate the point of having it on 3DS in the first place? Imagine going on a road-trip or something, with your 3DS in your lap and a wireless GC controller in your hand. Unless you have a stand, I'd think that 3DS will fly all over the place. But I do think a wireless GC Controller would be good for the Wii. |

I must be one of the few people who doesn't like the Gamecube controller. The shoulder buttons are terribly clicky and it doesn't have very good grip on it. |

I like the gamecube controller but I feel it's massively overhyped for Smash. I understand with the Wii - the Wii controller was pretty terrible for fighting games. But the Wii U Pro controller, and to a much lesser extent the gamepad, are great for Smash. Yet people act like Gamecube controllers are the only right way to play for some reason. |

Some people prefer Gamecube controllers for Smash, mainly due to Melee. I too prefer the Gamecube controller, and on top of this my opinion is that it is the greatest controller of all time. |
