Cool.

So theirs 7 ways to play Wii U Smash correct? (Those options being the Gamepad, Wii Remote on it's own, Wii Remote with a Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Pro Controller, GameCube Controller via an adapter, and now a 3DS).

Now, if they could make the Gamecube controller work for Smash Bros for 3DS...

They'd probably have to make a circle pad pro-like accessory that has a GC port.

That'd sell

Release a 3DS with bluetooth and make the Gamecube controller have bt too. That'd be cool.

But wouldn't that eliminate the point of having it on 3DS in the first place? Imagine going on a road-trip or something, with your 3DS in your lap and a wireless GC controller in your hand. Unless you have a stand, I'd think that 3DS will fly all over the place.

But I do think a wireless GC Controller would be good for the Wii.

I must be one of the few people who doesn't like the Gamecube controller. The shoulder buttons are terribly clicky and it doesn't have very good grip on it.

I like the gamecube controller but I feel it's massively overhyped for Smash. I understand with the Wii - the Wii controller was pretty terrible for fighting games. But the Wii U Pro controller, and to a much lesser extent the gamepad, are great for Smash. Yet people act like Gamecube controllers are the only right way to play for some reason.

Some people prefer Gamecube controllers for Smash, mainly due to Melee. I too prefer the Gamecube controller, and on top of this my opinion is that it is the greatest controller of all time.
