This is from the Daily Mail so it might be a load of horses*** but it's cool if it's true.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

I staggered across this about an hour ago on Bing.

None of it's been verified as of the moment due to it being an amateur investigation; but apparently the guy that they believe it's pointing to (a Polish immigrant), his life's timeline and his personality profile fits in perfectly with Jack The Ripper's killing spree.

Apparently he moved to Whitechapel the year the killings started, and was admitted to a mental institution the year they stopped. He died in 1919 in the mental institution.

His great niece (or something's) DNA was used to compare to the blood samples on one of the scarfs from the victims. It was a 99.2% match.

It makes sense that he was mentally unstable. Says on his wiki page that he had a fear of eating from food that other people touched and would thus eat food off the ground and in the trash. Wouldn't bathe or clean himself for months. Died at a weight of 98 pounds. Which is that of a 13 year old girl.
It's interesting that they originally suspected it was him but couldn't prove it and so it was never solved.
