I made this versus thread for two reasons. First, the charge movements for the attacks and the execution look kind of similar. Second, why not? 20-30 Seconds in 50 Seconds in

To both anyway, SBC takes it no contest and I don't think they're that similar really. Well, no. They are similar in that they're fired the same way but I don't think Azula's is based of it or anything it's just a focused lightning beam/blast. (not that I know anything about Avatar or really care to) Doesn't look all that powerful really.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball/Z, and One Piece	In power, the Masenkosappo is a lot more powerful. It was able to pierce a whole through a person with moon level durability and a person with large moon+ level durability. Even Fully Realized Avatar State Aang in the series finale is only 22nd Budokai level probably. Maybe not even.

Even considering if the users were equalized the SPC is still more deadly. Roshi's Lightning attack in the 21st Budokai is a better match up and even then I don't see any Avatar lighting attacks beating it.

Has a far longer range, too.

Didn't SPC graze Raditz who's massively ahead of Piccolo in speed (whether or not he was off guard)? SPC should be faster seeing as one doesn't necessarily have to be at a person's level to react/redirect it ala Zuko vs Ozai. Power: SPC>>>>>>>>Lightning Bending Speed: SPC>>>>>Lightning Bending The only scenario where Lightning Bending could surpass SPC is in charging time and even then that's arguable seeing has Piccolo needed to amp his attack to kill someone roughly 4x his strength. It stands to reason that the attack could be used immediately.

Most lightning bolts don't vary that much in power to begin with, I see no reason Azula's Lightning bolt wouldn't either. The only thing I imagine her charge time does is allow her to fire it more accurately at a target further away.

Piccolo charging it would increase power while as you said lightning wouldn't. SPC should clear all rounds especially since unlike lightning, it can't be redirected. I still say that Roshi's lightning attack is a better matchup though.
