Kept you waiting huh? Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	Snake has a body similar to that of Samuel (Metal Gear Rising Revengeance), and has a High Frequency Combat Knife. Raiden only has his High Frequency Blade. Who wins?

Raiden is a horrible character and MGRR is a terrible game. xD I'm dying. Fight Mechanics wise and fluidity it is one of the betters if not in top fifteen best implementations. Besides, MGR:R is entirely cheesy and it's supposed to be, going into MGR thinking it's going to play like MGS is that person's problem. Besides, just because a character sucks writing wise doesn't mean they'd lose a versus match, all it does is show you're incredibly biased. As for me Raiden should win this, although to be fair Sam is stated to have very few cybernetic implants. He was just a pure badass in a suit and had a cybernetic ninja arm. One of the major points about Sam not being entirely cybernetic was lost in the English release of MGR:R, the part where Raiden stabs him in the gut and he puts his hand over the wound and sees he has red blood. In the Japanese version Raiden and all the other cybernetic ninjas (excluding Sam) had white blood. When you strike Sam and you draw his blood and sees its red is supposed to be a "Holy crap he was barely enhanced..." But you know what happens in the English version. The scene had none of the impact as it did in the Japanese version since everyone had red blood. That said all Snake would have is a strong arm and the rest of his body would be how it normally is...He'd have to dodge everything and only use his cybernetic arm to strike...which is VERY disadvantageous in a fight against Raiden whom knows how to strike with all of his body aparts with his blade. Kept you waiting huh? Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	He still be fast enough to deflect bullets, like Sam, so I think they could match up in terms of speed. Strength-wise, Raiden hands down lol. But I think Snake's skills will benefit him more than Raiden's.

I mean look at Raiden's just from the cutscenes, he's frickin crazy with his leaps, the distance he covers, the travelling speed he can do (can catch up to a speeding train), he can still fight even without limbs, can hop on rockets and leapfrog...I mean...Snake has a lot to worry about here that skill alone is probably not great enough to surpass.

I know Grey is outmatched by later Cyborg Ninja in term of efficacy but Snake still managed to hold his own and Grey Fox was great in terms of flexibility and stuff as well. Yeah buddy, don't use travel speed to determine Raiden's combat speed lol. You should know just as much as Dae and I that his striking speed is 'lighting' speed and just about time frozen when using blade mode. Edit: Also check your PM He's good at odds but...Raiden's overall agility is MUCH greater than Grey Fox. I know, I was just pointing out his Travel Speed as well as his other things he'd have a major advantage on besides Strength. Only thing Snake has going for him is Skill...Speed would go to Raiden because lol virtual timestop and Jack the Ripper Mode. Snake is still horribly outmatched here. In the time it would take Snake to release 1 slash with his knife, Raiden would've countered with atleast 20 strikes with his blade mode not even counting Jack the Ripper mode. Where it only gets worse for Snake. In Jack the Ripper mode it is pretty much Blade Mode for an extended period of time where your movements are so slow and Raiden's are so quick that even without blade mode you can get out 30 attacks before you can complete a slash. Well, giving Snake his own feat of speed, he's no where close to Raiden's speed. But he's able to react to Rail Gun attacks. But I think his CQC will benefit him, he doesn't necessarily have to attack Raiden. With his enhanced arm, he could likely overpower Raiden with swift and efficiently.
