I drink a lot of coffee, because I'm literally tired all the time. I have no idea why.

I could have anywhere between 2 - 5 cups a day.

The only con that I can think of is when I don't have coffee I get killer headaches.

I also love Monster. Too bad you can only have one a day though. I could easily drink a four pack a day.
You can only have one a day? Why? I down two a day easily, on top of a Red Bull and/or Mountain Dew.

It says on the can to only drink one a day.

I could overdue it, but I don't want to risk it.

I drink 2-4 cups a day and I have a 250 mL can of Red Bull as well most days.

Caffeine has a lot of health benefits, it helps against cardiovascular diseases, helps the liver, relieves headaches, increases concentration, reduces fatigue.
There are some anti-coffee people out there who say coffee reduces weight loss, which is complete bulls***, it actually helps weight loss in several ways.
Others say coffee is a placebo, which is also not true, the effects of coffee are real and have been witnessed in labs on rats.
And a famous argument against coffee is that it's acidic and f*cks with your pH levels. Which is also pretty dumb.
Black coffee has a pH level of about 5. sure in scientific terms that would be acidic, but if acidic drinks would be so bad then I guess beer is even more acidic with a pH level of 4, orange juice has a pH level of 3 and lemon juice even goes up to pH 2.

Sure you can quit drinking coffee, but I don't see the need. Not every addiction is bad

I used to drink coffee back when I went to school, but ever since then I've only ever had about 3-4 cups. Maybe I should start again though, considering I tend to sleep too often.

I'd rather not die tho.
If you want a 50% of dying from a caffeine overdose, you have to take your weight in kg and multiply it by 150 mg of caffeine.
Or simply look how much kg you weight and that's he amounts of regular cups of coffee you have to drink.

There have been no reported deaths in caffeine overdose through coffee or energy drinks. Only deaths from people who ate it purely in power form or caffeine pills.

If that's the case, then I'd have to drink 80 cans of this particular Monster for me to get to that point. There would be no conceivable reason for me to drink 80 cans in one sitting. My body wouldn't even allow that much liquid to go into it.

Not true.

I hear all the time about people a little younger than me and some older than me that die because they drank three cans of Red Bull and stuff like that.

You'd die quicker from your stomach bursting open than you'd die from getting too much caffeine. While you're drinking that much you will just throw it all up again. You don't die from 3 cans of red bull that's ridiculous.

Here is a quote from wikipedia: "The median lethal dose (LD50) given orally is 192 milligrams per kilogram in rats. The LD50 of caffeine in humans is dependent on individual sensitivity, but is estimated to be about 150 to 200 milligrams per kilogram of body mass or roughly 80 to 100 cups of coffee for an average adult.

Dying from 3 cans of red bull? I'm sure people have drank 3 cans and then died, but I doubt the red bull was the cause of death :p
I'd like to see a source for that, if there was any drink that could kill you by taking just 3 cans of it, then it would probably not be sold in the supermarket

I've had Red Bulls, NOS, Monsters, and 5 Hour Energies in the same day and the most I got was a slight sickly feeling (which I attributed to the 5HEs as I used to take two for some of my morning college courses). Whoever died from drinking only three Red Bulls had something else going on inside their body for that to happen; it wasn't simply the Red Bull.

Ever since I got my current job I've ramped up my caffeine intake by 10,000%. I drink a couple 5 Hour Energies, Monsters, Red Bulls and Mountain Dews everyday. It's stupidly difficult trying to stay up during work without that stuff, but I attribute most of that to my body just not adjusting to working nights (don't ever do 3rd shift, I'm warning you). On my off days I'm fine because I'm up during the day and my body can handle that naturally, but when I have to work it wants to shut down so I either take all that caffeine or my night is s***, and I can't afford to have a s*** night here.
Lol bro, take it easy on that.... Too much caffeine is not good for you. You can overdose and possibly get heart attack if you drink way too much.

I personally stopped coffee as much like before, I only drink one black coffee without sugar or milk everyday as a part of my diet. Besides that I drink this fat burning tea (which contains a number of healthy ingredients like lemongrass), or green tea with honey.

I'm not talking a specific case, but I see it all the time on the news. People drink a lot of energy drinks (usually three or more) in a day and die.

I've never seen anything like it and as I've said before there are no recorded deaths of simply drinking coffee.

Here you can see how much you need to drink to die: http://www.caffeineinformer.com/death-by-caffeine

By the time you drank that you'll have vomited it all out again

As for your energy drink deaths.
I found 1 case of a 14 year old girl. and she drank 24 ounce cans of monster... So yeah. 24 > 3.
