Non-alcoholic beverages vs Alcoholic beverages

Recently, I read an article about the subject above. Non-alcoholic beer is much more healthier than alcoholic beer, that is for sure. But the thing that I didn't know that they taste the same, except for the buzz and extra stuff alcohol makes for the one who drinks it. I also read that there's a chance for non-alcohol beer to dominate the market, but that sounds very slim.

Do you believe that non-alcoholic beer will dominate the market, or not?

I know this is like out of topic, but which one do you prefer?

I've never tried non alcoholic beer... unless you count sparkling grape juice in a bottle that looks like a wine bottle. I drink that stuff like mad.

I think it probably won't dominate the market for the same reason that e cigs won't. People don't like change, and will keep doing it the old fashioned way no matter how much better / safer / healthier it is.

Edit: Can you send me a link to the article? I have a curious-nature and want to read it.

People will just ask what the point of non-alcoholic beer is.

I don't seem to find it anywhere now. I stumbled on it by accident and read it. You can find a lot of sites with similar nature to the article I read about. One. Two.

Tastes nearly as good as alcoholic beer, it's way healthier, and not as dangerous as alcoholic beer.

Lmao why is this n deep discussion?

Well, I don't think non- alcoholic beer will ever become more popular. For a lot of people that's like walking into a strip club just to use the bathroom.

Speaking from experiences with my friends, they drink to get drunk, so that's the crowd I was referring to in my post before. Those are the people who are likely in the majority.

It does not taste the same. I don't know why people keep claiming that.
So many pseudo-studies suggest that it all tastes the same even though in reality, when you give someone who drinks a good amount of beer a non-alcoholic beer he'll immediately ask you if you gave him a different brand or anything. It does not taste the same.

If it did taste the same why would people bother ? The taste isn't even good, people only drink it for the single purpose to get drunk.

Beer tastes terrible to me. If I drink it it's to get smashed so tasting like beer without getting drunk does nothing for me

I also harbor a huge dislike for the taste of beer. I don't like the taste of alcohol-related products in general, but beer tastes like what you'd imagine the floor of a porn shop to taste like, mixed with camel piss.

I've tried beer before, but not non alcoholic.

It tastes like someone bought a can of Mother, left it in the sun for a week, and added piss and earwax.

Beer, like many alcohols and foods, is an acquired taste. I can almost guarantee a lot of you have mostly just tried crap beer.

No point in drinking non-alcoholic anything unless you are really a fan of the taste.

I like beer with certain types of seafood and they way it is prepared, for example. Much like how I like white wine or red wine with Italian meals or steak.

Mmmm...filet mignon and cabernet...

The beer around here is definitely not supposed to be crap according to everyone that lives here and in the surrounding states. Still tastes like s*** wiped from a fried hobo's taint.

I drink beer to get drunk, not to enjoy its taste. Beer doesn't take very good so I don't see the point in my drinking alcoholic beer. If you liked the taste of beer, then maybe sure, but not me.
