 Tien at the 23rd vs. The Modern United States military. No Nukes, preferably, since this would probably be fought on American soil.

The Dragonball world has androids, cyborgs, battle jackets and capsule technology. One would assume that they therefore have superior technology in other areas too. 23rd Budokai level characters make a mockery of all of it.
Well they only ever show like WW2 era guns it's not really that advanced a world just some random aspects are advanced like robotics and space travel but elsewhere it doesn't seem so, it's not like they have laser rifles and stuff like Frieza's goons.


I can't imagine Tien would like incendiary rounds from anything upwards of 50. cal and the American way of shooting is to just spray it everywhere so he'd definitely get hit.

Plus doesn't the U.S. have more aircraft carriers than the rest of the world combined? That's a lot of firepower.
Even if he survives the explosions he's going to be choking on smoke constantly plus there could be some radiation involved.

Also they could use lasers on him not sure how they are as weapons now but for one they're invisible and they can set boats on fire in the water


I think he could tank most explosions but were he actually hit by shells he'd get hurt.

 Tien isn't only super powered, but he's skilled. Normal bullets wouldn't effect him. 120 mm rounds might bruise, but he'd be fast enough to get past most people unless they had heat seeking rounds. He could probably tank (lol) a tank shot, though it would hurt. I think he's powerful enough to kill a TON of people, though the entire military is probably too much. Unless of course he does hit and run tactics.

 He could probably dodge most rounds and can harden his skin to deflect larger or potentially more damaging rounds.
He moves faster than most human eyes can follow so he can quickly destroy most machinery before it can do serious damage.
His Solar Flare would make everyone around him pretty much helpless.
He stopped the super dodon ray at short range with a yell, so I think that should be considering when thinking about the sound weapon Pelador mentioned.
If he combines the Four Witches Technique with the Multi Form you are talking about a serious intimidation factor there. The army would be too busy screaming/running/hiding to react rationally to something that bizarre happening.
Also considering that at that time he was trying really hard to convince Roshi and himself that he is/wants to be a killer this makes a great test of his willingness to follow through with it.

Also Multi Form splits his power in half for each division doesn't it? That would be a mistake if weapons are going to hurt him a little, at 1/4 strength they'd do a lot more damage.


The US has like 7000 tanks too it's going to take Tien longer to destroy all that plus the jets, helicopters, LAV's, drones, artillery, high calibre infantry operated guns than it does for them all to attack him, there's no way he dodges that I mean assuming all 7000 or so tanks are right there how does he dodge 7000 tank shells?
Apache's too they have targeting systems that can spot targets miles away and instantly decide which ones need taken out.

Humans might be slow and unable to lock on to Tien, but cameras aren't, automated weapons should be able to pick up on him decently well at range.


There's just too much going on here he'd be overwhelmed even if he could manage half of them he'd be tired out and get destroyed.

You got me. Yeah, at that rate he could be easily overwhelmed. He's just too weak at that time to do it.

Ten would stomp them no problem. Goku, at the beginning of the series, shrugged off a pistol to the head with no problems. That Goku is absolutely nothing compared to Ten.

How wouldn't Ten's speed help him? He's faster than Goku who has his weights on, and that Goku without weights (and weakened) could dodge Piccolo's blast that crossed the entire island, which is close to be as big as a small continent.

Goku kicked a missile that moved at speed, and was capable of completely pulverizing half of a mountain. That Goku is incomparable to Ten.

Ten can fly, and launch casual ki blasts everywhere that are more powerful than King Piccolo's casual blast, which is city level.

 The howitzer won't have to. The blast wave would be enough to turn his bones into jelly. To dodge the tank rounds, Tien's speed would have to exceed 1,555 m/s. Plus he'd need to go from 0 to that speed from the moment he sees the round coming towards him. Which would be fractions of a second. So actually I think it has a fair chance of touching him.

I'll believe this when you can prove this will hit Tien.

Also Solar Flare is the same as pure light, get a phone camera and shine it at the light and tell me you'll be able to see. Until then everything not prepared are gonna get temporary blind, and Tien could blitz them.

Tien stomps them.

 Doesn't matter what I say. You will still believe that Tien can somehow defeat an enemy who can attack without being anywhere near him. From literally miles away. In your eyes it's completely logical that Tien can move thousands of feet per second to dodge tank rounds and also not be blown to pieces from the shockwaves of artillery and airstrikes. He's going to punch and kick his way to victory over aircraft 25,000ft in the air. He's somehow going to know where all the tank rounds and artillery are firing from as well. Yeah of course. Silly me.
