I really wanna like it but I just cant. I just had to point out the fact that you have a Pokemon set right now. :P On topic, the series is good. Definitely has improved a ton as of recent, mostly with the style of humor. It was much more random at the start, and now the humor is developed and it should only be top-class comedy from now on I think. Well, top-class in my eyes.

However, I've met my fair share of people who do not. I've found a few petty reasons. 1. Fellow abridgers/fandubbers/voice acting enthusiasts who are angry that they did not do it themselves, or that their projects do not get them the attention and convention guest status that TFS gets. 2. People who believe the glorious source material should never be tampered with by lowly fans. 3. People who don't like it because so many others do. Then, there's a reason I would not call petty at all, but rather unfortunate, and that is that the fanbase can really turn a fan off. Even I get annoyed when people who are talking about the original show have to throw in the whole Raditz/Yamcha/Krillin is useless jokes that they learned from abridged. Guru and Nappa and Popo are not "hilarious" characters in the original show. I'm glad to see that the abridged series is so successful, but it tends to permeate conversations where it's not necessarily the subject at the moment. I let it roll off my back and realize it's the immaturity or lack of actually seeing the source material on the part of the person I'm talking to, but some people grow to resent the show itself. And then, in my opinion, the most legitimate reason; they just don't like it. Not everyone has to.

Posts: 7,023 Group: Elite Member Member #9,876 Joined: August 11, 2013 Gender Male Country Canada	Well, I do find TFS to be a bit over-glorified by the fanbase and I find it rather annoying when I see TFS jokes in all DBZ related YT videos and such but I wouldn't say that I hate it because I do find their videos entertaining. What gets to me is when people consider their dub to be "Canon".

Overall it does a decent job of telling the same story in less time with more jokes, which I guess is what abridging is for. I like the creators they are all super talented and do a fantastic job trying to get every detail right. I don't like most of the louder members of the fan base and their obsession over what I find to be the "lame" jokes (Nappa/Guru), while completely forgetting or ignoring the more subtle and more plot accurate jokes (Piccolo/Gohan). TL;DR = I like DBZ Abridged. I like TeamFourStar.
