I do believe in the Bible and believe it was God's word. But what I'm trying to say is that there were certain standards for a different time. If you look at the Bible as a whole you can come to your own conclusion. That's how I see it. @Zenet no harm done. Maybe I was a little sensitive lmao. I think the Bible can be pretty be vague at times but I see a lot of truth to what Jesus was preaching and understanding. There's still a lot to life we may not understand so everything is up to our intepretation. One love Edited by Return Of Imjustsaiyanbro, Aug 5 2014, 06:26 PM.

Everybody comes to different conclusions, how do you know your conclusion is right? Maybe my conclusion from reading the bible is that god never existed and the big bang created all of us. Yet I don't think god would agree with that, yet it's my conclusion from reading the bible. Not offending your positon here, but how would you even know you're a Christian. I mean, how much of the bible do you have to believe to even be considered a Christian? Edited by Ginyu, Aug 5 2014, 06:32 PM.

You're conclusion is your perception and everybody can think for themselves. Who knows? Mine could be wrong. Yours could be wrong as well. I know I'm Christian because I believe Jesus was sent by God to show us the light. |

That's the thing. We don't know. You honestly believe God expects us to follow every single rule. I view the bible as more of an outline than anything. I'm honestly confused what you're asking. Different cultures have different interpretation of the bible. The Korean bible vs The English one has many difference. This doesn't go for just Christians. It goes for all religions and beliefs. No one is perfect everyone got sins. So its expected to break rules. I love science but I don't I don't believe in Big Bang. |

The Big Bang is a scientific theory meaning it went through all the stages to be proven true . Of course I never done the scientific method for the Big Bang myself so I require faith to believe in it just like you need faith in everything unless you do it for yourself which is were Occam's razor comes which means simpler explanations for phenomena is more likely to be the true its most likely that all the published details and findings of the Big Bang is true than something just being made up by the tens of thousands of people who published the evidence. |

There are scientists that don't believe in it. http://www.angelfire.com/mi/dinosaurs/bigbang.html http://www.metaresearch.org/cosmology/BB-top-30.asp |

Not believing in a theory is pretty naive, sorry for saying it. A theory is a explanation for something that went through tons of stages to be accepted and went through numerous scientific researches. It is not to be confused with a hypothesis. Gravity is also just a theory. But go jump off of a building and we'll see how you fair. @GmGoken: Those are only parts of the theory that aren't right. The majority of scientist do believe it, and the evidence supporting the big bang is much stronger than the evidence opposing it Edited by Ginyu, Aug 5 2014, 08:05 PM.

That is all pseudo science especially the first link. The internet is flooded with information that much of it is wrong. The best way to know something is first understand it then you can detect what is true. Somewhere on the internet you will find people trying to prove the Earth is flat but most can debunk this without looking for the evidence on the internet. So isn't very popular in the branch of pesduoscience. Edited by Zenet, Aug 5 2014, 08:12 PM.

Evidence supporting BBT is stronger than Evidence Supporting BBT(edit your post. You made an error). I believe in gravity. Clearly. But I've never bought the BBT. |

Do some research on it and give me good reasons as to why you don't believe in it. Looking at the first link you gave me. That's a biased and unprofessional source. Angelfire is a service that allows people to make their own websites, the layout is unprofessional and I would take the information on that with a big grain of salt. As for the second link? Static universe models fit observational data better than expanding universe models. Element abundance predictions using the Big Bang require too many adjustable parameters to make them work. Invisible dark matter of an unknown but non-baryonic nature must be the dominant ingredient of the entire universe. This content was clearly not made for us. Don't tell me you understand any of this, this article is clearly aimed at students and teachers who are specialized at this stuff, not us. Really educate yourself with good reliable sources on the big bang and then tell me why you doubt it. Not believing a scientific theory without having knowledge of the theory itself is disrespectful according to my moral codes. Thanks for your correction btw, it was supposed to say 'opposing' the second time @Jack Shepherd A Theory is way more solid than you think. You're confusing it with a hypothesis. Evolution has been directly observed. I hate to offend anyone, but seriously... Doubting that is quite ignorant. Someone who is educated on it in an unbiased way would not refuse it |
