Oh now I'm understanding. It's relative to the gains they've been making thus far. |

Precisely. Here is the SEG training guide which helps to show just how dramatic the FPSSJ training was. http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=243269#p243269 Check it the part that says "constantly being a Super Saiyan". |

This is kind of nullified by the fact that he can still continue to gain power in Super Saiyan after he appears during the Cell Games. Toriyama stated this in a recent interview considering that he said that Goku would be unlikely to use SSj2 and SSj3 again; and opt to simply improve his base and SSj. Of course, whether or not people actually want to consider this statement canon is completely up to the individual reader. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, Jul 26 2014, 09:17 PM.

I don't deny that, but look at how small the gains were. He goes from being not that much weaker than Kid Gohan to being barely stronger than him in 7 years. He is definitely at his limit, which is why he had to learn new SSJ forms to improve. |

i believe that once you mastered a transformation, there is nothing left to train. goku left RoSaT early because he reached his limits and more training will just hurt his muscles ant wont gain anything. so full power and mastered are the same thing in different words. but thats just my logic. or maybe you can see it as when when someone just draws all of their ki, probably to show off or to use all of it in battle. I agree. However, it's simply personal preference on my part. I simply don't like "Full Power", and think that "Mastered" much better explains what the form actually is. |

Yea I feel Mastered Super Saiyan is a better way to put it. You can master something yet still get a little better or a little worse over time. Similar to receiving a black belt in a martial art. You are legit, even if you don't train anymore ( like Gohan ) the skills for the most part are going to always be there. You've reached a truly expert level. Full Power Super Saiyan, seems to imply this is their limits or what not. Reaching the furthest potential of their Super Saiyan, while that is more or less true, I still prefer " Mastered ". It's akin to becoming a Jedi or a black belt, I prefer that term. I do think FPSSJ sounds cooler though. |
