Maybe it was his performance and ability to one shot his best men? Of course the real argument is whether or not he thought this was Goku's max power or not. He was pretty confident up until Goku popped a Kaioken, putting him about 95,000 above Ginyu's best guess. And I think I do remember a scene, may have been anime only, where he put a range of 60k - 85k or something (I'll have to source that sometime today.) but it does make you wonder. If nothing else I'd say Ginyu may have experienced something similar on a previous incarnation of the Ginyu Force or maybe while serving directly with Frieza. |
