Using Vegeta's logic, what counts as a loss?

Many times have Vegeta done something impressive but yet still counts as a lost. I think I can easily answer this myself but in Vegeta isn't a lost means that his power is weaker? He doesn't even have to fight the person but he can count it as a lost. If I'm correct he counted Gohan as a lost(when he "stop" fighting) cause his power was greater.

Example:
Vegeta getting his a*** kicked when he fought Rikum for example. Vegeta wasn't concern about that lost. But when someone completely surpass him in power say Goku or Gohan he gets so worked up. Hence why Trunks never told him about his power in USSJ.

Vegeta was focused on Freeza and the Dragonballs. Recoom was just in his way. He got upset when he couldn't beat Freeza.

When he fought Cell, Cell was the subject of battle.

Vegeta thought he had 'lost' against Goku too, since he needed to revert to Oozaru form. That's kind of a toss up as we all know why.

Anything short of the enemy being killed in the most violent way possible.

I think that only applies to Goku. That was Prince Vegeta, the Saiyan who was about being a super elite and royal and such other nonsense. Being the ruler of a warrior race and getting your arse whipped by a private in the army (low class warrior) just looks bad. Granted he lost to Recoome, Frieza and Cell. But he LOST to Recoome, Frieza and Cell. And 18. And Majin Buu. Wow, Vegeta just stops winning fights after Android 19 doesn't he? It wasn't a pride thing then so much as it was a laying their unconscious with several broken bones, dying or dead.

This is exactly why I feel Bardock is overrated. Saiyan Classes have to be a big deal to effect Vegeta this badly. I don't think Saiyans ever really jumped classes before, especially not like Goku.

Bardock being a low class soldier should only be around 2,500 in my opinion to have good correlation with the Saiyan classes.

Toriyama recently talked about Saiyan classes, though there might've been a discrepancy with Nappa in there...
