So, Piccolo unweighted clothes > MSSJ Goku 50% >/~ MSSJ Goku exhausted > Piccolo weighted clothes?
Piccolo doesn't need to be ahead of Goku, but he can be I suppose. I'm leaning towards equal.

And I'd say weighted Piccolo > tired Goku

Yea this is Piccolo we are talking about. He felt the strongest power ever and he went out and busted his a*** and topped it. Not by much, but he did top it. Seems to fit much better.

I don't think Piccolo would leave the Rosat if he was a 45 when Goku showed 50. He would just stay in another two months to get to 55.

You gotta think Piccolo got some pride and all of that. It's not like he didn't have more time to do it. He wasn't satisfied until he surpassed Goku's power from before.

Yes. And now, compare MSSJ Goku tired with 50% MSSJ Goku.

Please forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I thought Piccolo never changed how much his clothes weighed. So at the beginning it seemed like a big deal because they weighed a lot, and that's why his power would spike after he removed the weights.

Then wouldn't that mean that the stronger he got overall the less it would really mean in comparison when he takes off the weights? I mean by the time you get to the Cell Games shouldn't he be so powerful that it doesn't matter whether he fights with 100 pounds on his shoulders or not?

Man, I'd love to know how strong that exhausted Goku boy was. Sure seems to be an automatic assumption that he was still operating at about half power there.

Yea Goku has weakened a whole lot by now. I'd go with 25-40% personally.

Piccolo can alter the amount of weights he's wearing with a snap of his fingers. When you get stronger, you increase the weights or else you don't continue that kind of training.

Yes and no.

Goku was fighting without weighted clothes at Piccolo arc and BoZ, but after King Kai, it seems that Goku mastered that, so the weighted clothes wouldn't make a difference.

With Piccolo, its different. He fights with his weighted clothes against Frieza, after he takes his clothes off, he powers up. Does weighted clothes matter here?

Same with Piccolo vs Gero. He was suppressed when he had weighted clothes on, after he takes it off, he stomps Dr.Gero badly.

Same question. Does the weighted clothes even play a role?

I'd say weaker than base, maybe.

Also Piccolo said something like he'd never think he could surpass Semi-Perfect-Cell's power or something like that and Piccolo should know his power & his capabilities best, don't you think?

How come? Even if it happened before Piccolo entered the RoSaT, he should know his limits better than you, right?

Hoo boy, this took an unexpected turn. Still waiting to hear how Piccolo somehow knew that Goku was stronger than the power he showed to Karin.

Because Piccolo is intuitive. He always been one step ahead of the curve. He's too smart not to figure things out. And he's Piccolo? Have you read the story? Do you know the character?

Piccolo doesn't ask ridiculous questions, he's a very clever bastard.

Piccolo never fought a superior opponent with his weighted clothes on. Yes, the clothes were always weighted Alex.

Piccolo was very clever against Kaioshin and...well, just about everywhere in the Boo arc. He could probably trump Stephen Hawking with his expertise.

No, who's Piccolo?

Sure, he's intuitive, but it's a humongous stretch to say that he'd be able to figure that out, plus there's no evidence supporting the notion.

What is his character? If Piccolo thinks he can't surpass Semi-Perfect Cell, why would you question him?
