Might have to tread carefully here to avoid conspiracy theory. None the less how do you perceive your reality? Do you think that we are computer code? Or on a non cosmic view point, is anything we read or see the truth? How much are we being lied to or manipulated? What's real and what isn't? My personal view? In terms of actual reality I do believe that we are part of a computer program, because of how everything can be described so perfectly using mathematics. If you use the right equations then it makes it much easier to comprehend than words or pictures ever could. For media and government? What we're told by politicians and so called experts? I take every word with a pinch of salt. Statistics are often misleading, taken out of the correct context or just down right pulled out of someone's a***. Politicians only want votes and the government needs to keep order by any means that it thinks it can get away with. Media outlets have an agenda they're trying to push, or something they want to sell. Few can be trusted. Even the BBC which is meant to be very impartial and advertisement free surely can not be without fault in this regard? They are a corporation. They need to make money and win favours with powerful people to keep running. Having said that, the license fee helps a lot. Outdated though it may be. Edited by Pelador, Jul 19 2014, 01:14 AM.

To me, reality is an illusion created through interpretation of our senses by our brains. We are nothing more than atoms and energy that exist in a given dimension. Even the actual concept of time in the Universe varies depending on where you are, what speed you're traveling, and what your vicinity to gravity is. |

I don't think we're a computer program. Either that or everyone but me is, fairly sure I'm alive although I could be in the Matrix or something similar. We could perhaps be just cells in some microscopic creature though. Cells who have a collective kind of hive mind where we've built this universe around us to think we live in. It's a scary and interesting subject I find. |

Funny thing. I just bought the Matrix today and watched it. Either way, reality is the physical world we live in that we perceive through our senses. |

What interests me the most is how people see the world. Like the colour green to me could look like magenta to you, but you've been taught that it's green so we both say green. All the things you see are totally normal to you but if you were to look through someone elses eyes, other than people with bad sight, what would you see... |

According to the people reality is defined as follows, "The entities which we think we can understand or at least know that we can understand it over the course of time, can be termed as real or can be perceived as reality."-Human Being |
