I am thinking about getting the whole series of DBZ on those new season sets on blu ray. are they worth the buy though. Does anyone have any dbz seasons on blu ray.

I don't. I just own the Orange Bricks and Kai.

I can't imagine the Blu-ray being much different than the orange bricks or Kai, except for the pic probably being in higher definition.
But do we seriously need that?

I don't think it's worth it. If it was an anime series made today, it would be worth the cash.
But it's best to go with mediocre quality. It's ideal.

The Blu-ray season sets are... "okay." They have the same problems as the orange bricks (cropping, blurring), but not as severe. Any way you slice it, they're a big woeful step down from the late great 'Level' Blu-ray sets.

You'd be better off getting the Blu-ray sets for Kai instead. No such shenanigans on there, plus a bonus not-sucky English dub.

Yeah I guess I will stick to the orange brick ones that I have. May I ask why everyone complains about the orange brick ones. I don't have any complaint. I think some people are being too picky nothing is ever perfect.

One thing thought does anyone own the dragon box collection. Does it come with a episode booklet at all.
