Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	The Mewtwo fanboy in me says Mewtwo because he's Mewtwo motherf***er, but realistically, Arceus could just have the Spooky Plate and just go to town. Hell, 2 E-speeds from Arceus would take Mewtwo out, and I don't think Mewtwo can OHKO Arceus with anything unless he gets a crit.

Am I correct in assuming that Arceus has much better base stats? It does. Mewtwo has base 680 and Arceus has base 720(originally the highest base stat total until Mega Mewtwo came along).

Arceus still takes this with a Super effective move and 1 E-speed. Arceus pretty much beats anything 1 v 1.

Normal Mewtwo has a pretty good chance at one-shotting the most common Arceus in X/Y competitive battling - Extreme Killer Arceus. Modest, Life Orb, 252 SPA Mewtwo Focus Blast vs 4 SPD, Silk Scarf Arceus 94.75% - 111.81% (OHKO 68.75%). And as you already showed, Mewtwo X is the real threat to Arceus. Adamant, 252 ATK Mega Mewtwo X Low Kick vs 252 HP Silk Scarf Arceus 110.8% - 131% (Guaranteed OHKO)

Chrome, Safari, IE Favourite Manga Rave Master, FLCL, .hack//legendofthetwilight, Naruto II	Yeah I'm gonna edge it out to Mewtwo, especially one with Amneisa and Rest. In the long term and in the long battle, even with the elevated base stats, I doubt that Arceus can maintain dominance over Mewtwo unless it has a ridiculously Overpowered Ghost move in it's arsenal. Of course Arceus has never impressed me as a mon in general though, just as something to power through the Elite Four prn (As necessary)
