Because the prime universe IN sonic IS a video game. We're talking about a video game character and I don't remember a Solaris arc in the Archie Comics (Of course I quit reading when Ian took over and went on his killing spree, but I digress) so that version should therefore be considered. And in the vast majority of Sonic Media the super form (and when depicted hyper form) is portrayed as a time limited transformation, if for no other reason to bring a sense of urgency and gravity to it's importance. |

Oh I guess Squall is barely affected by bullets, yet in the cutscenes and AMV he's pinned down by gunfire and very afraid of getting shot. I guess Asura from Asura's Wrath despite dodging lasers and being able to disappear from normal sight is somehow slown down enough to where Grunts from the beginning of the game can hit him. I guess Dante from DMC can be immune to bullets and can bullet time one second but then get hit by a slow moving fist. Game Mechanics don't work when in these debates, they're not useful in any degree since in one cutscene you can be immune to a sword slash and then once you go into the game you still take considerable damage from a sword slash. |

Well if we're running on that logic, how the hell does Andre- I mean Spiderman get tagged by a bullet when he's been bullet timing for years? For that matter, how does Superman get his arse whipped by a little magic burst but he can hang with the magic powered Captain Marvel and tank hits from Thor's magic hammer? Why does Goku catch a bullet as a Super Saiyan in DBZ when he's visibly bullet proof in the first episode of Dragonball? Inconsistency doesn't live in Video Games Ink's, it just has the excuse of cutscenes power to the max. |

If there were no cutscenes in the Sonic Game we're talking about then game mechanics would be what we go off of, but as soon as you bring in cutscenes where it is visibly stated that x character exists in the past, present, and future you can no longer go off game mechanics. Unless you think the game makers can make you fight as a being that is 1/3rd omnipresent. A little harder than most would like to admit. The examples you brought up were movies or animated shows where consistency to the comics they originated from does not hold well...and sometimes they don't even stay consistent to themselves. Also Goku was hit by a bullet and it visibly hurt him in SSJ? That sounds like some filler there. Superman's versus matches against Marvel characters aren't canon, neither are the animated shows or movies canon to the comic book period Superman they take part from. |

No Goku didn't get tagged, he physically caught it. But I suppose that's not the point. Ok, how do you SCALE 34% omnipresence? You're either omnipresent or you're not. That's it. |

Don't think about it, think Keanu Reeves brah. "Just clear your mind" I'm sure they weren't thinking when they made Sonic and Shadow 1/3rd omnipresent. But tis the way it is, it may not make sense and trying to think about it in depth is going to result in a headache. But then again, we don't go around disputing Pre Crisis Supes' speed breaking the bounds of infinite with the resulting image of the infinity symbol being punctured and Superman flying out of it because it doesn't make sense. |

As I've learned those threads usually reek of foul souls who don't understand the character that has accomplished said feat is impossible to exist anyway. Thus in order to disregard a plain laid out feat and statement they must first dismiss that said character exists in any form. And that gets us nowhere... Touché, that does take care of that. But for a legit comparison we do have to at least scale the omnipresent thing. Maybe not formally quantify, but at least scale it so we can tell what bearing it has on the battle if any. |

Since he would have to technically time travel into the past, he could in theory during the battle go into the past so that he could be omnipresent in that past and create a new battle but with him being everywhere at once as long as it abides by him being in the past. Past... |

So really it's an endless chain battle with an alternate Vegeta for every alternate shadow since he's physically there but not? |

Super Form needs 50 rings to activate but then it's as long as Sonic and Shadow want to be Super. As for the Solaris thing Shadow was not Omnipresence the Super hedgehog just fought Solaris at the 3 time eras he was effecting the most, his birth, the current time and Silver's future. And once again SSJ4 Vegeta had one fight and Bulma and Chi-Chi watched it he's not MFTL. The only way you can get him that fast is power scaling that makes no sense and is fan opinion.
