Something no one in Naruto did a feat close to it, and he can a ton of these too. You have Piccolo who can probably replicate the same thing at full strength. Kami, Tien, KP, Krillin, Yamcha, Cyborg Tao, RRA, etc... There's something. The entire Naruto verse failed to defeat the Juubi, who's massively weaker than Goku. So how can these people hope against the entire verse? Naruto characters don't have attacks that go in a straight lines with huge radius' nor do they have piercing style attacks like KHH or Piccolo's attack. Bijuudama is shown to be more of an explosive style attack.. Genjutsu wouldn't work on the Juubi. Along with Hashirama's forest among other things that won't work on it. Zanzoken doesn't even classify as an illusion, as the images are very much real-- just not solid.

You have to conclude that Zanzouken is either a mass illusion that affects everyone, or just traces of ki purposely left there in a certain form to fool your opponent.

Take your finger, put it up to your face and rub it back and forth really fast. You create the illusion of tow fingers despite the fact there there is only one. The same thing as this. Take two light next to each other. If you switch them back and forth really fast, you create the illusion of one light or one light moving back and forth and not what is actually two lights being turned on and off. Zanzoken is just speed, its a burst of movement that leaves an afterimage, just in the same way that your finger moving really fast in front of your face leaves a brief afterimage. A Genjutsu is essentially warping mental reality on a grander scale. DB characters can get through Zanzoken because they can essentially keep up with it. A Genjutsu isn't using speed to create illusion in front of a person, its creating a warping of mental reality in a person's mind, and that's not something that being able to see fast as lightning movement is going fix.
