I wanted to bring this up now because I think it's the appropriate time. Anywho, any wrestling fan knows WWE started, and was for a majority of it's existence, known as the WWF. In 2002, they had that whole lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund, and were forced to change their name, and they did, to WWE. They did something I thought was very smart: To avoid confusion, they kept the WWF logo and altered it, to let people know that despite the name change, they are still the wrestling company they once were, minus the F. So, some of the IWC (Myself included) believe it's time for a new logo. The scratch logo, while good, has been around long enough, and only survived this long to avoid confusion surrounding the name change. WWE designed the Network logo, which looks like a more professional, fresher verion of the scratch logo. This logo is now on WWE Network content, and even the 2K15 cover, so it seems that they're slowly but surely replacing the scratch logo. So, my questions to you: - Do you like the Network logo? - Is it time to retire the scratch logo? - Do you think they will continue to use the scratch logo for TV content, and the Network logo for Network content? The Network logo is something that grew on me. It was ugly at first (as was the new X-Division title) but as I got use to it, it grew on me, and it looks like a great step forward. I think it is time to retire it. The scratch logo represents attitude, something WWE does not have. I just thought this'd be an interesting thread. |

I don't like it but I don't think the scratch logo ever looked right once the F was removed. |

Agreed. The scratch with the F was f***ing awesome compared to the WWE one. |

I do not like the Network logo. It just seems overly PG-13 for me. I miss when they used to let most things go. Although the Network logo takes a little getting used to, I can deal with it. I do miss the old WWF scratch logo, though. |

They're debuting the network logo on Raw after Summerslam. Changing the title plate to the network logo and the new logo. |
