I feel like Gohan vs Cell could have benefited from a darker atmosphere, rather than the final battle of the saga taking place on a nice bright sunny day. Freeza and Boo don't have this problem since their fights took place on another planet, so while Namek was bright (other than when Porunga was summoned) we don't associate the green sky with nice relaxing days. |

I agree, I would have liked to see some fights in the rain. I think the reason why there wasn't any may have been because it would have been too tedious for Toriyama to draw all of the rain, however just overcast would have been fine. |

The same climate - sunny blue/green/pink sky - was stale to the xth degree, but I understand why it was so.. The show originating from a manga, afterall. If the series is ever redone with cgi though, I feel this must be changed. - I second Gohan vs Cell for night time. - Make the storms, the lava and sea currents, more visually devastating in Goku vs Freeza. We saw that lava was shot up at the beginning of the battle and it never stopped.. But we didn't see it again until goku went ssj and barely then did we see it. I say it needs to be in the shot more. - Z warriors vs Nappa was day time; Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo vs Nappa was at sunset (I presume because the sky was pink); then Goku vs Vegeta was daytime again? It should' e been night time by that logic .... Even though I didn't mind the daytime look for that battle. |

Namek has 3 suns ![]() Anyways, I second the Gohan vs Cell, or even Cell vs Goku. I would have liked if the Goku fight started in the evening, and then Gohan would turn SSJ 2 at dawn. |

I forgot about that, however it would still be cool if physically possible for the planet it took place on. |

Like this? ![]() I find the video games have always shown it at night, compared to the anime. |

Wasn't it dark when SSJ Goku faced 100% Frieza in the 2nd half of their battle?![]() I mean sure it was still technically daytime but it was at least dark outside. |
