This revolves around Goku's age. Dragon Ball Minus stated Goku was 3 when he left Planet Vegeta, that makes Krillin 4, Bulma 5, Vegeta 7. Goku was born 737 AD but in the new manga he gets shipped off around 739 makes him 3. So I guess Beerus found out about Goku when he was 3 years old and when BOG happened he was 41(not 39)? Dragon Ball begins about ten years later after DB Minus according to the old man in Jaco the Galactic patrolman making Goku 12-13 when he meets up with Bulma. I guess that sounds right? Sounds a little confusing. We all know Goku is 19 in the end of Z right? Krillin would to have been 20 at the time and Vegeta age 24 in the final episodes of Dragon Ball(Vegeta was around 17 at the start of DB) Goku begins DBZ at age 24 in 761(Saiyan saga), AGE 762 At age 24 due to death(Frieza saga), AGE 763 Garlic JR saga, 25 due to death, Age 764 Trunks saga, 26 due to death, Age 767 29 due to death but turns 30 after training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber 7 Years later during the Buu fight Age 774 Goku is 30 due to death. 10 years later after Buu saga Age 784 Goku is 40 due to death. So what do you think does that pan out right? Vegeta's official age is 30 by the time Frieza arriives? How old do you guys think Bardock and Raditz are when they both died? I consider Dragon Ball Minus as canon as Neko Majin. In other words, I consider the Daizenshuu timeline to be accurate. Everything else is subsidiary. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, Jun 30 2014, 12:20 AM.

Since goku was 30 during the cell games and you don't age in other world phsyically wouldn't he be 30 in majin buu saga since he's dead? |

His actual age is still the same, even if he physically isn't as old as his actual age. The age that he actually is would change even if he spent time in the Otherworld, even if his physical age doesn't. As for the time spent in Otherworld during the Saiyan Arc, you also need to consider that the time that he spent in the ROSAT (Hyperbolic Time Chamber) would've caught him up to the correct age for the Cell Games. Therefore his body during the Boo Arc would only be 7 years behind his actual age. We also need to consider what time of year these characters birthdays are. If an event takes place in July of (eg) 767, but the character's birthday is in November of that same year, they wouldn't be that age yet. There's also the fact that Saiyans don't age as fast as humans do. Goku and Vegeta during the ten year gap following the defeat of Kid Boo were specifically stated to not age during that time. They physically were the same age that they were during the Fight with Majin Boo, however, in Goku's case, he actually looks 17 years younger given that he also hadn't aged in that 7 year period after the Cell Games. Yes, Vegeta stated that Saiyans stay in their prime longer because they evolved as a warrior race. He stated this after the ten year gap following Boo's defeat when Bulma made a comment about it. This was stated after Goku told Bulma that she looked like "an auntie", or in other words, looked old. In addition to this, there's a page in the manga that shows how much the relevant characters have aged during the ten year gap after Boo, and it's specifically stated that Goku and Vegeta had no change during that gap. Toriyama in a recent interview also stated that Saiyan's natural life spans are actually longer than the average human, but most of them die in fights, this is why you almost never see old Saiyans. Lol both vegeta and goku look no older then I and I'm going on 31 people guess I'm in my late 20s. |
