Roy mustang vs Zuko

 I'd put my money on Zuko in such a case. The thing here is, if I recall is that Zuko essentially has an art style to him and doesn't just utilize flames but controls and turns them into a style for him to use. He controls fire and so he can pretty much take Roy's own attacks and turn them right back at him. Where as Roy doesn't control fire, he utilizes alchemic principles to create explosive blasts.

But you wouldn't see Roy making a huge firewall and turning it into King Ghidorah or something. Roy may have better destructive capabilities on his part (but I'd probably give it to Zuko if he's being empowered by Ozai's Comet in the destructive point) and while definitely strong, Roy doesn't show the same amount of skill that any bender in the Avatarverse.

If its beginning of series Zuko, I can probably see Roy winning it.

If its end of series Zuko, who has now increased his skill and can utilize lightning and all that, I'd give it to Zuko.

If its Post-Ozai Comet Zuko then Roy's going down hard. Zuko's firebending I think is going to be far too harsh for Roy to handle at this point. He's going against a guy who may not only be stronger than him but also more skilled in his usage of firebending.

But its been a while since I've seen Avatar so **** whatever I know I guess.
