Kept you waiting huh? Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	When Goku was trapped in that imprisonment ball, the moment it exploded, how could Goku escape the radius of such an impact? He couldn't move until the sound of eruption, so does this place his speed over sound by huge margin? Edit: He probably already did but wanted to be sure. Is piccolo saying he outpaced light? I don't think so. I think he was just talking about the attack, because the attack was paralyzing, and appeared as light. I assume the explosion expansion itself was slower than the speed of light. There's no reason to believe that it was faster. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, Jun 29 2014, 11:11 PM.

Typical velocities in solid explosives often range beyond 4000 m/s to 10300 m/s. Sound only travels at about 340 meters per second by the way. So he moved much, much quicker.
