Everybody I've talked to that has played sagas hated it. Personally I loved sagas, I just thought keeping the ssj transformations was a bit tedious. What did you all think about sagas? Why did you like or dislike it? |

Loved it on the Gamecube, hated it on the PS2. then i played it a few months back and hated it all. i liked the in-between chapters cut scenes, the stages are slso nice looking but not that great.and playing as 2 players was also kinda cool but wore off pretty quick. i hated how short it was. like why was there no buu saga? me and my breh finished it in like 1 hour. the fights were so repetitive and predictable that by the time we got to the Jeice/Burter fight we were already set to put in Budokai 1. man even with the power ups and special attacks you bought it got less boring but not a lot. this game was and is so bad even the board version in budokai 2 is a million times better |

Action Adventure game? Bare minimum of what constitutes as one. Some stages are basically just straight Tenkaichi battle zones, except with horrible controls, poor graphics, and a lot of wonkiness. Also, damage was just insane. The only effective character, even against Raditz, is Broly. SSJ2 Gohan also applies, but goddamn it all if I'm breaking my thumbs just to get him. SSJ power runs out so quickly that you can barely maintain it long enough to find the next batch of enemies. To be honest, all characters were the same. Their special attacks are all just big hadoukens, even the Kamehameha •WAVE•. The animation was sloppy and way too unintentionally cartoony, and not in a good way. And the glitches! I had a field day finding all the glitches. My most used is the "Electric Kaioken" aura. Do the flurry of attacks combo, then immediately upper cut. My favorite is the False Super Saiyan where, about three times total, an enemy attacked me at precisely the right moment and hit me out of my SSJ transformation... but I still transformed! Somewhat. I had the aura, but not the hair. Also, I didn't lose ki. Cool. Unfortunately, it temporarily broke the game since I couldn't power up. I had to expend all. Still awesome. Some others were just annoying. One time, I got kicked to a distant karst tower. Normally, your character returns after a few seconds. Not this time. Gohan apparently decided to Gohome. Had to reset the game. And I was only a few hits away from finishing the boss character. All in all, I would give them credit for trying but I don't think they tried. The fact you like this game is to be expected. Statistically, •someone• likes something, no matter how universally reviled it is. The music was OK, and the opening cutscene was the modern style of DB art before the modern style was a thing. Also, Broly was basically a cheating bastard where you could just mow everyone and everything down. I'd give it a 2 out of 10, mostly for the music. Very Faulconer esque. |
So....His shoes are Super Saiyan 4? Here's the the glorious position of being part of DBZ forums' prestiged Member #OVER 9000 club. | |

I'm one of the few who like this game. I think it's awesome. It just needed some more work. I could honestly sit down and play this game anytime. I've been even listening to the soundtrack on my phone a lot here recently as well. It's a great game. I hold it high. |

Me and my bestie Jemarcus loved the game because it was so bad.. If that makes sense. Though my game was pretty glitchy and got very frusterating at points.. Such as when the game froze after beating a boss, or when Frieza would vanish and become invincible. That happened way too often. |
