Mr Popo's power?

I have the Viz for several volumes, and it compares very closely to Herms. Miles is right, not every word is the same, but generally those words are unimportant words. That's at least what I've found.

I think it's silly that Krillin jumps to such conclusions that early in the match.

And excuse me skepticism, but my translation never made it clear what Krillin said. He only said "And here they go".

And what's your translation Emmeth?

Snake, what was the most important thing that Popo was trying to Goku about?

And what's your translation Emmeth?
It's a norwegian translation, so roughly translated that's what Krillin says.

Wasn't it something to do with clearing his mind? I've hardly touched the original Dragonball, so the gaps in my knowledge are unfortunately very large.

There is one differences with Piccolo coming out from Rosat. That line, maybe you know that too.

Popo was teaching Goku how to use his ki-sensing to his advantage.

Didn't Snake just show us Herms translation is the same as Viz? Yep and what did Popo think of Goku's fighting style. Did he think he had any flaws?

Loads, but what does it have to do with anything?

Perhaps it's the same in certain instances, but a changed word here and there can lead to completely different interpretations.

You're going to have to tell me straight about the whole Popo stuff, I skimmed over it a few years back and that's about it.

Weak spirit and weak technique. That's what Popo thought of Goku.

Cmon guys you can get it. Goku used to be the one huffing and puffing, now Goku is not and TIen is. Has nothing to do with power.

Alright.

But how come Herms didn't translate Krillin's quote, if they are so equal?

Who was saying it had anything to do with power? Lol. Popo states that Goku has good power, but he has no clue how to use it. That's what he was training Goku to do.

Because there are a bajillion power quotes. Herms has missed quite a few insignificant quotes. You will definitely miss a couple of things here and there if you only have Herms. Invest in some manga imo. You can buy it with the Viz app, I think each chapter costs like 4 bucks or something keep it on your phone or tablet.

Alright I give. A lot of Popo's training was about how Goku used poor technique, which caused him to become exhausted much quicker because he was inefficient.

Goku vs Tien was at equal power levels, Goku was just much more efficient with his movements, hence Tien being the only one breathing heavy.

Roshi didn't understand why, perhaps he thought that Goku wasn't trying, but that wasn't the case. After all, Goku has been training for the last 3 years or so how to become a much more efficient fighter and better with ki too of course.

This fight shows the fruits of Goku's trainings in technique more than anything. We've seen what happens when someone is stronger and has better technique, but we haven't seen what happens when someone is equal and one has better technique. It's a plot point that's never really shown again and I guess it's going to be assumed that the Saiyans and Freeza's men were trained properly, but it's an interesting point in the story where we get to see the effects of proper technique and how it changes a fight.
