I just posted Krillen's quote did I not?


Krillen says they are perfectly evenly matched.

Which means

Goku = TIen

Later Tien says that Goku is unbalanced. His speed is inferior to his power. So from this we can deduce.


Goku Power = Tien Power > Goku Speed = Tien Speed

Tien then ups his speed to match his power, something Goku cannot do...

Goku Power / Tien Power / Tien Speed > Goku Speed

Got it?

 No offense Emmeth, but that's kind of closed minded. How did people debate before there was a Strength Checker? People used the Viz. Herms is great, and his work is phenomenal, but we can't just throw away Viz.

You're reading this completely wrong. Ego has nothing to do with it. I just don't trust Viz 100%, because it's not 100%. Read what Miles wrote earlier.

 Viz is just as accurate as Herms. Herms translated some words different thats it. Its all the same.

 I've gotten way more enjoyment out of this topic than I should've, if I'm being perfectly honest.

After their little skirmish after Krillin's comment, Tenshinhan's panting while Goku's simply grinning. Tenshinhan had to put all of his effort in to simply try and keep up with Goku, and he failed pretty badly at doing so.

Tenshinhan (Speed) >/>> Goku (Speed)
Goku (Power) >> Tenshinhan (Power)

Haha ok. I guess I got a little frustrated by Emmeth's logic. I'm cool now. But I'd like to hear what we should do without Herms translations Emmeth. Should we not debate anything if it wasn't translated by Herms?

The varying levels of exertion is implied to be something else, not power.

If we didn't have Herms' translation, we'd discuss it the way people discussed it before. I'm not implying Viz wasn't near-accurate before Herms translated the original source, but it wasn't perfect.

Take a look at the drawings before you conclude that Viz is right.

 I think both are accurate enough to understand the battle strength. I don't have the Viz otherwise I could've used it too, so thats why I'm using Herms.
