Where do you put Mr Popo? Goku surpassed him before the 23rd Budokai right? Plus he's weaker than Kami? So he should be about 200? Or am I hopelessly ignorant? |

Goku in the 23rd Budokai was stronger than Kami, who is stronger than Popo, so yes, Goku did surpass him sometime between them. I don't really use numbers so I can't help you there. He's between Goku (King Piccolo saga) and Kami, if that helps you with your numbers at all. Edited by Clearin, Jun 27 2014, 01:31 PM.

Yeah he is definitely a lot stronger than Piccolo Daimao, and I mean a lot. Goku (post water) was about equal to Young Daimao, yet he couldn't even touch Popo. I'd be almost willing to say that Popo could have been nearly twice as strong as Piccolo Daimao.

Yeah but wasn't that more because Popo could sense Goku's movements rather than him actually being stronger? |

I think it was both to be honest. I'd have to reread that section of the manga, but I thought he outclassed Goku pretty badly in speed. |

I've decided to go with Kami staying in the low hundreds, and Popo with a reading of 1,030 from training Goku and the humans. They all surpassed Kami, but not Popo. |

Nothing suggests Popo gained any power from training Goku or training the others. Popo is the same strength, he doesn't train to gain power, he trains to make others stronger. There's a difference there. He showed them the basics and did some drills with them but he didn't train intensely like they did. Mr. Popo is very, very strong. He would easily handle Piccolo Daimao, which is absurd and he is even superior to Tenshinhan at the 23rd Budokai quite easily. Mr. Popo is so strong he's still superior to Tenshinhan 5 years later. Mr. Popo is a beast. Kami, even more so of course. |

I'd say Popo got some power training Goku, and the other humans later on. Not a massive amount, but he's still being active and working out. |

Enough to maintain his current power sure. But to gain power? I don't think so. Nothing suggests Mr. Popo's power ever changed and he's comfortably below Kami 4 life |

Daiz says Popo is at 1,030, which I find absurd. All he did was training Goku, that doesn't mean his power increased by a lot to surpass Kami. |

I'm not saying he's going above Kami, but the simple fact is he's training Goku, who at one point ended up even stronger than himself. He's bound to get stronger just from being so active for 3 years straight, especially when at one point the person he's training is stronger than himself.
I don't believe Daiz numbers at all, but I assume that'd be in the Saiyan saga after training with the humans. Edited by Clearin, Jun 27 2014, 08:45 PM.

Then "all he did" wasn't training Goku, it was training all the humans too. |

So Floyd Mayweather's trainer should be a god then right? |

No, but I never claimed Popo should be a God either, in fact I specifically stated I was not saying that. But Floyd Mayweather's trainer is fitter than he would be if he wasn't an athletes trainer. Not that I know anything about boxers trainers, so I don't know exactly what his trainer goes through, but we know Popo actively sparred with Goku to train him. When you're sparring with someone who at one point gets stronger than you, why would he ever stay the exact same strength as when he was sitting on his fat a*** for 300+ years not doing anything but watering flowers? |
