He blew his father's power away as a 4 year old and as a 9 year old. Gohan having less potential than Goku is absurd. The drawback is that Gohan does not train in peace time so Goku can catch up. But Gohan got his potential drawn out and then brought way beyond his limits. Goku is not supposed to ever touch that.

I think they pulled some stuff out of their arses to make Goku look cool. Gohan's potential should always > Goku's and others. Gohan is in base form, so he should get an increase from SSJG. If SSJG works with dormant power, then it should be able to take whatever Gohan is working with. Whether that's in base or SSj. Edited by Professor Gohan, Jun 28 2014, 02:59 PM.
