Yea no power up imo. Just yelling. People are allowed to yell and not have their power fly up multi folds dudes. If that was the case Chi Chi would one shot Beerus. |

Trying to discredit the opposing argument by bringing up an absolutely pointless, incorrect example of it wont help you. Nobody's arguing that yelling automatically increases your power, or anything close to that. However, when you've got the implication of Base Gotenks getting muuu~uuch stronger, the idea of Boo powering up when he yelled fits way too perfectly for it to be ignored. |

I don't see the relevance. Super Buu was already suggested to be way stronger, no need for him to be any stronger than way stronger than he initially was. |

So, for pretty much the entire fight, Evil Boo was at the same level of power and simply held back? Nah, I don't think so. I'd like to think that Piccolo isn't a complete idiot when it comes to sensing ki, but that's probably just me. Before you mention 'gag'. tell me how Piccolo's claim, coming from a character who's known for being completely serious and mature, is a gag statement that holds no water. No it's like this. Super Buu appears. Piccolo isn't quite sure where he measures up. After Super Buu gets close to Piccolo, Piccolo realizes Gotenks has no chance. Piccolo sends the boys into the Rosat and they train. After we see that Ssj Gotenks is almost on par with this version of Super Buu. Then we see Super Buu go all out to get out of the Rosat, that's when we first see Super Buu's true power. |

SSJ Gotenks (Pre) - Says that he doesn't stand a chance Base Gotenks (Post) - Actually considered whether he had a chance or not It's pretty cut and dry, in my opinion. If Piccolo's of the opinion that Base Gotenks (Post), who he doesn't know can transform, has a better shot at beating Boo than SSJ Gotenks (Pre), then that's likely to be the situation, even if you ignore the boys' thoughts of being a match for Boo in base. |

How was SSJ Gotenks almost on par with Boo? He got one head-butt in on him, and he used some ghosts. Other than that, Boo was able to joke around with SSJ Gotenks' rings that surrounded him. |

At first Piccolo was like: Chapter: 487 (DBZ 293), P13.5 Context: as Piccolo plans on having Goten and Trunks train in the Room of Spirit and Time Piccolo: “Can’t you tell…?! As they are now, even if they perform Fusion they can’t win, no doubt about it…! Tell them that if they don’t want to die while they’re still just little brats, then they should train as much as they can…!” And then Piccolo was like: Chapter: 489 (DBZ 295), P11.5 Context: seeing Gotenks after he’d trained in the Room of Spirit and Time Piccolo: “He-he really is different…! He really has greatly powered up…! Th-this just might…!” |
