 Did Boo tank Gotenks' headbutt?

If you're going to say that they knew Boo's full power and that only SSJ3 would work, what basis is there for base > SSJ pre?

The headbutt isn't even close to the same as a punch. You aren't factoring in that both parties were already travelling at tremendous speeds when the collision occurred, increasing the force.

 16 flew towards Semi Cell, no? I could be wrong. There's still a huge difference between the instances though, which can't be ignored.

Let's use Vegeta and 19, then. Not quite a tank but more impressive than Boo nonetheless. What's that look like?

But if Boo was at full power the whole time, Piccolo is clearly wrong, no?

 I don't recall either tanks very well, but Vegeta did bleed I think. I still don't think a comparison can be made completely. For a real comparison how about Kid Boo vs Good Boo? I'm pretty sure there was a head bash attack that either damaged Kid Boo or both, I can't recall 100%. But Good Boo was able to knock Kid Boo back, and he was what, 33% of him? I don't think head smashing feats are very good indicators.

This is the problem I've seen here the whole time. You believe Base Gotenks post = Boo, right? How do you make this work if you think SSJ Gotenks is weaker than Boo? This is all going by him powering up when he released the kiai by the way. If his power output didn't change until then, how did he go from being equal to Base Gotenks to being stronger than SSJ Gotenks? If you look earlier in the thread I was actually trying to find reasons as to why this could be, such as resting ki vs fighting ki. Still, if Boo did not power up until the kiai, then how did this phenomena occur? How does he just become stronger than SSJ Gotenks?

 The Diaz says base Gotenks didn't surpass Vegeta and the others till after the Rosat so that's where my placement with him cones from.

 I'm starting to wonder if Gotenks doesn't have to be superior to his previous SSJ form. As long as he's strong enough to warrant some cockiness, shouldn't that be enough? I mean, I feel, with the things are portrayed now, SSJ3 Goku should be superior to base Gotenks, both Pre and Post, but Super Gotenks should be way stronger Post. Something like this:
SSJ2 Goku: 80
SSJ3 Goku: 320
Base Gotenks(Pre): 80
Super Gotenks(pre): 400
Base Gotenks(Post): 160
Super Gotenks(Post): 800

Was Piccolo cocky? Trunks thought that they could rival Evil Boo in base and Piccolo reinforces that. Doesn't matter how cocky Trunks is, Piccolo comes to the same conclusion.

 As long as Gotenks is much stronger, it's good enough for me. It's made clear that Piccolo was wrong about Gotenks having a chance, and I don't see why Buu would power up in this moment. He should be the same Buu that showed up to the Lookout.

I'm kind of liking this idea.

1) Super Saiyan is a 50x boost.
2) Ssj Gotenks Pre ~ Ssj3 Goku
3) Super Buu ( Initial ) is way above Ssj Gotenks Pre, Gotenks is probably like 66-75% of Super Buu Initial.
4) Ssj Gotenks Post has caught up to that level more or less, he's now 85% of Super Buu Initial or something.
5) Ssj Vegetto is stupidly superior to Buuhan.


The question about Vegetto is, does he have an aura the whole fight? If not, is he using a sort of warm up power? How much more in reserve does he have as a Super Saiyan. Vegetto yells at Buu and wants him to fight harder so he could use full power. Just how big is the gap between Vegetto and Buuhan?
