Hello, forgive me if this seems out of the blue, but I've just found this website and have been really impressed by the community in my short time looking through (before making a profile of my own), and as a result I hope you don't mind if I expose you all to a Youtube series I help run called Dragonball Z League. Dragonball Z League is an AI controlled, team based sports league containing your favourite Dragonball Z characters! The League uses a game called Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which not only offers a wider range of characters and deeper customization than any other DBZ game, but also allows for team based matches, which is what the League is built on. There are 16 different teams, each containing 5 characters that fit a particular theme from the show. These 16 teams compete against each other throughout a Season, before the top teams go on to compete for the ultimate prize, the Tenkaichi Bowl. But where's the human element in all this? If it's AI VS AI, what's the point? Well, I mentioned previously the deep customization options Tenkaichi 3 offers compared to other games, and this is fully utilized in the League. Rather than have two humans control the characters and risk the battles becoming repetitive, the characters are AI controlled (To ensure that each match is a unique experience) and the fans, the supporters of each team are in charge of customizing their teams characters before each match, offering a much larger level of involvement than the standard E-Sports would with two players controlling the characters as they fight. And believe me when I say that your involvement could be the difference between your favourite DBZ characters having a terrible season to being crowned reigning champions. For more information, please feel free to check out this more detailed introduction video from the Head of the League Squee913, check out the DBZ League Youtube Channel here, and have a look through our own forums here which contains all the possible information you need to know about the League! I hope I have peeked your interest, and I can't wait to see you building your team to glory! If you have any questions feel free to ask me them here. |
