What do you think about them so far, which one is your favorite, which one is your least favorite and finally what would you like to see in future Batman games? |

I can't say much since the only one I've had is Arkham city but that game was amazing. The graphics look good on every game. Can't wait until the new one |

Arkham Origins is my favorite. I beat them all. Now I'm just watching the game movies. I'm also reading the Arkham City comic series: Arkham City, Digital Exclusive, Unhinged, and End Game. Arkham Origins has the best story. Asylum is my least favorite because of the ending. However, I'm looking forward to some surprises in Arkham Knight. |

I rented like the first or second one I think, played it for like half an hour didn't like it too much felt pretty blocky to me. I guess the transition from Nolan's Batman to it was what threw me off a bit. Arkham Knight however looks pretty badass. Dat suit. How challenging are these games? Are they fairly simple like Spiderman games where it's just mash square or whatever to do a combo and beat everyone effortlessly or is the combat system actually in depth like you'd expect from someone as skilled as Batman? Trailers and gameplay have got me interested but I'm not sure yet. |

I haven't played Origins yet, all the bugs I heard about has kept me away from it, but lately I haven't heard of any so I'm not sure but were they patched? @Steve: As for chalenging, Arkham Asylum there are a lot of Challenge Maps and they really are a challenge and with City there are more Challenge Maps and it's a more open environment in the main story line and there's a mission where you play as Robin and a story with Catwoman and you get to play as her on your main save game. Also, there's a feature called Game Plus that allows you to play from the beginning with all your current unlocked gadgets, but all the notifications are removed and you have to rely on your own skill and timing to counter and figure out what to do without being notified how to quickfire anything. I find Game Plus to be very challenging. I want a Batman story where the gamer is more involved, not breaking the Fourth Wall involved, but at the beginning of the game Batman and Alfred establish the works of a new prototype Batsuit and later on in the game Batman begins building it and it's a custom made suit the gamer makes and about half way into the game Batman has to put it on and through upgrades and tweaks at the end of the game it's out of the prototype phase and is a full suit by the end. I probably will get Arkham Knight at some point but not on release. Yeah that would be cool with the suit, sort of like the Iron Man games but more in depth than just buying more powerful gear. So you could develop heavy gauntlets and leggings for added force to your attacks as well as durability. Or lightweight parts that increase your speed, glide distance and reduce the noise you make. Stuff like that would be awesome. Do you get any kind of involvement with Wayne Industries in these games? Because it would be cool if you could...well not take over the city but fix it up, make slums more habitable and stuff by gaining money through investments and science divisions, with missions involving you saving scientists and recruiting them. If it was a Batman game with everything like that it'd definitely be near the top of my list, Batman is cool but being Bruce Wayne would be cool too and not just for small parts of the story. |

You don't get to do stuff like that, you solve crimes, solve riddles, stop random acts of violence against innocent prisoners, discovers the identity of someone who's following you and you find Mr. Freeze's wife ad that's in City. As for the suit, yeah but make the game where you could play through several times but each time you have more unlocked, but the first time you start off with standard materials, but if you play through and do it again with everything unlocked then you can make it look the way you want and then upgrade it later. |

I was a little thrown off from the transition of Nolan's Batman as well. But since I'm in the animated series so much, having the old voice actors from back then, in the Arkham series, was awesome to have. Arkham Knight will be awesome. Harley has a lot to make up for. They can be challenging, if you want to make it look really realistic, that is. ![]()
I have nothing negative to say about Origins. I say give it a go. Yeah... stuff like not controlling the Batmobile, Batwing, etc is what sucks about this series. It's all about running, Batclawing, and gliding to your destination.
I'm with you about not playing as Bruce that much. There's a DLC where you can play a Mr. Freeza extra. It was cool running around as him in GothCorp. We need more stuff like that to make things interesting. Walking around in Crime Alley, hand a bum a ben or somethin'. |

Yeah, I want to play as Bruce Wayne, I want to be away from Waynetech and the Manor and get a call from Alfred or see the Batsymbol and have to get to where I can suit up. OR be in the Manor and have to get down to the Batcave to suit up... I want that option, to return to the Cave have to figure stuff out or repair something, they can make a game like that and I wish they did. What Mr. Freeze DLC? |

That would be awesome being able to play the billionaire playboy part and doing side missions involved with the story. Maybe for some parts you need Bruce's influence to gain access to restricted areas for info about some tech a villain stole, things like that. Of course mostly Batman would just break in and find out but being able to sneak in as Bruce would be cool. Most games where you play a hero you never really do much with their alter ego so it'd definitely be interesting enough for me to get it if it was like that. Maybe one day. Perhaps Bruce could have activities like going to board meetings and stuff like that to skip a few hours until it's night time, Batman time. |

That would be amazing and a lot of fun, Could you imagine if you took the Batsuit prototype idea and also applied to the Batwing or Batmobile? Think about it, the player makes their own custom Batmobile, I know that's a lot but just think about how awesome that would be. I would give it a trunk like Asylum and would make it like the Ecto 1, have slots for all of Batman's gadgets and the same with the Batwing, so if you need a Suit drop off it's right there... all you need to do is get to an area where you and the Batmobile can converge. What do you think? |

Yeah I think customization is something games lack these days, whenever it's a set character and not one you make yourself you don't get to do much beyond buy specific armour and that's just how it looks you don't get to re-arrange parts, change colours or add parts, purely optional of course but it would be great effectively making your own Bat Suit. It would be cool if you got unique gadgets to add too like a Fulton Recovery system type thing(the thing called a Sky Hook in Dark Knight where a plane latches on to a balloon thing) So you could sort of launch yourself up in to the sky for gliding purposes, but with that lose some mobility. Also being able to adopt villains technology in to your own, like some sort of ice projectile that sticks peoples hands to their guns once you beat Freeze a certain way. In Arkham City you have a Grapnel Boast that when you press AA (Xbox 360) fast you go straight into a boast and if an enemy is on the ledge you do that on, it turns into an instant KO. Also in City you get a chip from Mr. Freeze's suit that allows you to shut down one of his guns. Yeah, it would be cool to see a suit combo like from Justice League War combined with The Dark Knight Movie armor, or possibly from the new game Arkham Knight. Wow, we should make a game.

Excuse the double post... I couldn't edit. I know I'm going to get crap for this, but I don't think Kevin Conroy should voice Batman anymore, and the same with Mark Hamill with the Joker. Especially with Kevin, because in Arkham Asylum you can hear his age in his voice... he's getting old. I think they should go with someone younger, here's who I would go with as for Batman and Joker. JASON O'MARA voices Batman and JOHN DIMAGGIO voices The Joker. I know for them to bring Joker back they would have to make a new Arkham series. I don't think it has to be exactly an Arkham series, but it should be at least based off the Arkham series. And I must say... Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Talia and Catwoman are so damn hot. They are a drool fest. |
