Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Battle of Gods has presented us with a rage boost for characters other than Gohan and Pan. Do you guys think a rage boost is a reasonable alternative to Goku and Vegeta surpassing Uub in the Super 17 arc?

Pan straight up got mad a Rild, and that was made clear to us that there was a rage boost involved. Gohan's the only one that stated that he was angry, anyway. I don't think the rage boosts of whatever kind have much to do with GT.

I don't think its viable because Goku and Vegeta are full Saiyans, which goes against their nature unless something really horrific happens to them (i.e Freeza killing Kurrin which triggered SS1 Goku). Gohan is a hybrid, he shows emotions that he misses and cares by hugging Goku, while Goku just pad him on his back. Edited by olliebalollie, Jun 19 2014, 02:43 AM.

I just think it would make more sense than Goku and Vegeta getting waaaaaaaaaaaay stronger in a very short amount of time.

Unless Vegeta never really cared that much for Future Trunks during Cell Arc.

He forces Cell to brace himself, which is interesting since Cell should be able to tank even a Final Flash without flinching taking the difference between them into account.
