Would adult Goku's SSJ4 be more powerful?

 I don't know much about how SSJ4 works so I apoligise if this has an obvious answer. I was just thinking, when Goku was in child form, he couldn't utilise the SSJ3 form properly. Something about how his smaller body couldn't handle the strain? I can't remember exactly. So since SSJ3 is more effective with an adult body, would that also apply to SSJ4 even though it transforms him into an adult anyway?

 I don't believe it would change, because I was under the impression that SSJ 4 brought the user to their prime. That's why Goku grew back up again, into a young and fit body. A body that was capable of using instant transmission, and using more advanced techniques. Goku couldn't use a 10x Kamehameha as a child, but he was able to in his SSJ 4 body, so I feel that he was brought to his prime.

Saiyans usually grow big into Ozaru. Perhaps it's okay for the SSj4 form to have a similar effect, especially to those in a small body.

 I don't think he could get stronger. I've re-watched GT with the Japanese subs on and there isn't any impression that Kakarrot would be stronger as an adult. The only thing I think would change is how long he could access SS3 and SS4, but I don't think the SS4 would change much personally.

 I don't think he'd get any stronger. I agree with SS I think SSJ4 puts him in his peak physical state.

 If you follow the suggestions of the actual series, it's possible that only pure Saiyans can reach SSj4. So SSj4 for Gotenks may not even be possible.

However, given the fact that Goten completely slacked on training, it's hard for me to believe that an adult Gotenks would be much stronger than his kid version.

 I wouldn't put much stock into the whole only pure blooded Saiyans can Transform. Because Baby Only wanted to go Super Great Ape, he had absolutely no interest in going SS4, he was only interested in Transforming into Kakarrot's pre SS4 form and using that to defeat him. And as for the dialogue between Bulma and Vegeta, they're only speculating and they're not really sure, but the only thing we know for sure is what Baby says about it, and his one and only objective was becoming a Super Great Ape and destroying SS4 Kakarrot.

 not to mention that vegeta was a pure saiyan, he was just infected with a parasite. that's a completely different issue than being a saiyan/human hybrid. i think the issue was that ssj4 requires the saiyan to control oozaru, which vegeta didn't do, baby did, and baby doesn't count.
