Yeah, that's why I attached it as an "if." But we've already seen how effectively Vegeta can fight when he's close to someone in power. The odds are probably in his favor even if he opted to just rush and pummel Freeza instead.
Freeza can as well. If you go by Daiz numbers, then Freeza is skilled as Hell via the fact he could actually keep up with Goku. However, if an attack winds the 150,000,000 power level Goku, then it will leave Vegeta splatted across the ground.
According to the DaizenShuu the gap between Goku & Freeza is a rivaling gap, apparently because Raditz & SaibaMen had a similar gap (by DaizenShuu numbers).
That's a fair point...except they have Dodoria and Zarbon at 22 and 23,000 respectively
...& what does that mean?
He is trying to say that 24k Vegeta effortlessly beat Adlerian. That's his point.

Lol wtf autocorrect *Dodoria
Yeah, I just remembered that.

...but still my point stands that for Daizenshuu the gap between Goku & Freeza is considered a rivaling gap.
If you want to go that route, then Dodoria was rivalling Vegeta.

Yeah... I don't know about that.

But why did they specifically use the 12/15 ratio they used for Raditz & SaibaMen (that's what I mean they specifically used the exact same gap)?

Coincidence?

Possibly coincidence. That's why I've never considered Raditz to be 1500. That 1.25x rivalling doesn't add up when including the Namek events.

Yeah if it was a coincidence then fine but I just meant it's strange that they have the same exact gap & consider 1 of them rivalling gaps, so maybe not unintentional (even though it may be).

Believe what you want, but it's an inconsistency at heart.

I never said I believed it just pointed it out.

Yes, I meant it as a general statement.

Before we get into another power level discussion, I just want to get us back on the right track.

Since Freeza won't have taken a Spirit Bomb to the face in this AU, his stamina will be much better. Probably not great, but better than in canon. Because of this, he'll be able to fight a bit longer, maybe long enough to land one of his amp moves like Death Saucer or Nova Strike

How is he going to have an upper hand against someone that's most likely stronger than him?
Because 1) I'm operating under the presumption that they'd end up very close in power, and 2) because he's mutha-effin' Vegeta, that's why.
Even if their somewhat close in power, Freeza was shown to hold his own against SSJ Goku who had a decent lead over him.

Now with Freeza having a power edge this time, how could he lose against someone that was considerably weaker than Goku?

And no, mutha-effin' Vegeta isn't a good reason lol.

I'd give it to Frieza after a moderately difficult fight (pretty much the same as the Drandosk video). Frieza seemed too close to Goku to have a 1.25x gap so I'd place him at 145 mill which would leave his 2%(what I guess his starting percentage was in final form) at 2.9 mil which is slightly below Goku and a big gap between him and Vegeta who I have at 2.4 mil.

I think "power gaps aren't consistent" is the entire point. ;)

Even so, Freeza was nearly equal to SSJ Goku

"I am the bone of my sword."

Once again, the only time battle powers become inconsistent is when the guidebooks started sprouting out their number nonsense.

KK3 Goku Vs Vegeta

Vegeta vs Dodoria

Vegeta vs Cui

Goku/Piccolo vs Raditz

Freeza vs Nail

All of these have stated or implied gap of at least 1.2x or greater. Each and every one of these fights ended with one side getting the absolute snot kicked out of them. They may have survived through sheer endurance and plot but they sure as hell weren't putting up a fight. The manga itself was actually very consistent in the way the battle powers were present. It was probably one of the few things that AT really seemed to focus on and make clear.

Cui didn't even want to fight Vegeta, he freaked out and tried to run after Vegeta made a mockery of him.

Dodoria couldn't even hit Vegeta nor break out of his arm hold. According to the Daiz...Dodoria had a PL of 22,000. He somehow got his *** kicked and cried like a little baby there. And then Normal Zarbon...PL in the Daiz. of 23,000 freaks out just like Dodoria and gets played with. A guy who is only 1.04x weaker than Vegeta, a gap this barely noticeable...got mirked until he transformed.

Now here comes 100% Freeza and SSJ Goku. According to the guidebooks, there is a 1.25x difference between them. A difference we have consistently seen to be a gap where one, owned the other like a bag of potato chips. But there was no owning here. Freeza actually took own and held his own with SSJ Goku, an overall advantage to Goku but by no means was it a curbstomp fight in Goku's favor. Freeza was landing blows and one point even got the advantage during the beam/ball fight. Even as his stamina got lower and lower, he was still holding his own.

And at no point whatsoever is it implied or even stated that Goku is going easy. In fact during the beam duel, he's screaming like a banshee, veins popping out, sucking on gamma radiation to turn into the hulk...and Freeza won.

Now either you call the guidebooks BS contradictions which don't follow the manga format. Or otherwise Freeza must be so god**** beastly that they had to drop a Genki-Dama on him, strain his body with 100% and then make the gap a 1.25x difference just so that SSJ Goku could finally hold what we might imply to be an advantage and yet Freeza is still strong enough to hold his own.

Goku's a wuss.
