I was about to say Raditz, but the person who made this topic already said it. The reason why Raditz would survive the sun, is simple...the output of the sun, in terms of Watts per second, when converted to petatons, is not as big as the energy required to bust the moon...which Raditz casually survived. This is something from another site: - Man Of Steel
-
The Sun and DBZ Characters
To find out the what characters that can survive the sun ignoring radiation and the lack of oxygen, we need to find out how much energy the sun releases every second.
The sun releases 3.8x10^26 J each second that's 91 petatons a second(90.8222)
Now Piccolo destroyed the moon
The gravitational binding energy of the moon is 1.3*10^29j which is equal to 31070745697897 MegaTons which is equal to 31070.7457 Petatons
So piccolo's durability at the very least(since he casually did it)is 31070.7457 Petatons
and the sun energy output every second is 91 petatons
So as we can see here that the heat of the sun won't be doing s*** to piccolo(heck people in part 1 could might not even feel it)
So Goku complaining about the temperature in the HBTC is inconsistent with what is shown when they fight.
Heat is a form of energy which can be measured in Joules(3.8x10^26)
So heat is not something that ignores durability
Once again this is just for the heat this does not factor in the lack of oxygen and radiation
I was looking around this site, and I think this place doesn't accept calcs like this or somethin... Still, I agree with the topic maker. Raw force means nothing. If someone hits me with a truck, but it only hits my leg, it won't kill me, despite having more force than a flamethrower, which will kill me

@Vegito It had to have the characteristics of planet in order to have the basic facets of a planet (gravity, orbit, etc). He thought of the Beers thing later anyway.
@Goku You'd have to prove that for some reason Cell's life force is significantly greater than Vegeta's in that case.

@Goku You'd have to prove that for some reason Cell's life force is significantly greater than Vegeta's in that case. It doesn't matter, Kaio molded the rock into the form of a planet and likely gave it the gravity of his former home. And there's no proof that the planet orbits anything.
That could be argued seeing as he's an Android, made up of Frieza, Piccolo, and Saiyan's cell. And we all know Namekians and Frieza, Saiyans (somewhat) have above average life spans.

Not if it only hits your legs. Won't the physical trauma itself be overbearing to the point of cardiac arrest? Perhaps blood lost?

So do you have evidence of anything you're claiming? By default it has a core since it's called Kaio's "planet" - a planet has a core by default - the burden of proof is on you to bring evidence that it's missing a core. Being small isn't enough evidence since it has all the other characteristics that a default planet has. Besides like I said it doesn't hold any weight since Toiryama thought of this this Beers thing a decade later.
Also you've given an interesting theory but once again there's no solid evidence for it. It's all fair game to believe in your own theories but it wouldn't hold up in a formal debate.

It did have a core, until Toriyama stated Birusu destroyed the original planet, which Kaio used the debris to form what we see now. Can you prove it does have a core as of date? And this is fiction it doesn't have to grasp at every law to make it a planet.

Burden of proof is on you since planets have cores by default. If we factor it the Beers thing then he reshaped into a new planet to some form, there's no evidence he didn't keep intact something default like a planet's core which gives all planets their stability. And like I keep saying the Beers thing was added 10 years later so it's kinda pointless to back and forth with this.

Not really. One person got ripped in half by a train and was fine. Even if it does kill you, the point is that force doesn't really matter so much as how it is applied. In this case, even if you die, it won't be from the impact, it will be from bloodloss.
I am arguing against Kakarot claiming that the Sun's energy amount will be too low to do anything, when it doesn't work like that

We can't just apply physics to this particular area, and tbh I did believe that Kaio's world had a core but Akira changed my thoughts on the matter. Even if he did have a core, my theory on how Goku could momentarily tank temperatures ranging in the 18 billions in celsius. So it's improbable for the planet to have killed Goku anyway. I will tell you if you want, but it should be found a few pages back.

Raw force means nothing. If someone hits me with a truck, but it only hits my leg, it won't kill me, despite having more force than a flamethrower, which will kill me The amount of force a truck hits you with, would probably be converted into...a little heat, a little. IIRC, a water drop hitting the ground, would be converting a tiny bit of kinetic energy, into heat.
A truck hitting you would probably equate too...a pretty big spark., maybe. Kinetic energy, and heat, are...the same, actually. Mainly, a heated up piece of steel, compared to a ball moving at a specific velocity, and all that other science jazz (not that I hate science).
Well, you see, atoms are vibrating. Vibration is motion. The more the atoms vibrate, the "hotter" they are. Technically light is just an excessively tiny atom, moving at high velocities. When it hits something, the vibration of the atom that the light hits, increases. Basically...light is essentially mini cannon balls. This is why Raditz would not be hurt by the sun. The force of all these mini cannon balls simply can't hurt him.
