I suggest you reread the portions of the manga where Gohan gets a rage boost. He basically loses consciousness and the ability to act on his own will. Going back to the Saiyan arc, he even forgets the feats that he accomplishes while enraged. Being angry is meaningless, because Gohan did not share the qualities that he had when he was being fuelled by rage. The statement tops it off, because Gohan is showing that he was in control. Yeah, that's kinda how rage boosts work.... . I don't need to reread anything. This is just your interpretation of what is going on. Nowhere am I lead to believe Freeza and Piccolo are forgoing the rage boost Gohan, IMO, clearly had. He didn't have the qualities of a rage boost? He looks angry to me and is screaming, "Die Freeza!" That's good enough for me. To each his own though. If you want to see things this way, be my guest. SuperSaiyan Anger does not mean rage boost, Prince. Gohan says it himself in the Boo arc. He says that he was angry, but not like he was against Cell, meaning he couldn't get a rage boost. Gohan is still able to fight angrily without being boosted in power. I think that I already specified that he wasn't as angry, but the fact is that Piccolo could die, and I think it should be apparent to anyone that Gohan likes Piccolo more. I mean he charges head first without even thinking. Seems like a rage boost to me.

I could also argue that if Gohan were that powerful, he would have used that power earlier. I mean honestly, am I seriously expected to believe Gohan went from weaker than Vegeta, after his Zenkai, to around Freeza's third form in a matter of minutes? Come on. In this case, it was his power that was mentioned.

Uh, his power up does steadily increase his power, I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying that Gohan received a rage boost when attacking third form Freeza. Freeza has already seen this rage boost, so he shouldn't have to mention it. Vegeta has seen Gohan angry prior to this, but not to such a degree up to this point. Piccolo on the other hand is used to this so I don't see why he would mention it either.

To each their own, I'm not really trying to prove anything here, though I will point out that Freeza didn't know Gohan was Saiyajin until after he said he's become a completely different person. I will also point out that Gohan charges Freeza without even thinking and he has white eyes when he does so, implying he's pretty pissed. I mean SSJ2 Gohan was in control, of his actions, but his personality had completely changed from kind to sadistic.
