or an ex-con. you get in a shower with a hundred other men, and you can't help but see some penises. btw, the guy with the record for biggest penis? he's not actually the biggest. not even close. and black guys really are, on average, bigger than white guys.

i'd say 90% or more of white guys are circumcised, a little over 2/3 of hispanics, and about half of blacks.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

I've seen a black penis, and it was circumcised.

Man, this is getting weird. I hate penises. Chances are though, if you were born in America and your parents were born in America, you're circumcised.

Yes, that was a scenario that I hadn't thought of.
That would make it not weird, if you want to go as far as to say that.

I used to not like penises, but they don't bother me now.
From Lunar's input, it seems that mostly white men in the US are circumcised.

I read this as "should I be prepared to be circumcised at birth?"
Anyway, I was circumcised and while there's health benefits to not being circumcised, there's also benefits or it, like how you're a bit more resistant to some STD's.

As much as i'm enthralled buy this conversation let's just keep this not personal please...

It really is just a choice and in many cases a cultural issue. There is nothing really in either direction that says it -has- to be one way or another.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

How does being circumcised allegedly help prevent some STD's?

I don't really understand how that works, surely more skin = more protection?
That sounds a bit BS to me, like it's made up to encourage it or maybe it somehow offers like 0.01% extra protection not 99% as it's acted like it is.

Given that the opening is more exposed I would think it's easier for infectious bacteria and whatnot to get in it.

Surely if it was slightly more dangerous we'd have evolved to not have foreskin any more by now?

I'm currently pregnant, and if I have a boy, I'm seriously considering not circumcising.
I think this is the problem.

People are considering 'not circumcising' someone.
It should be the other way around. There is no reason to circumcise everybody. It should be a consideration to do it, not to leave it as it is.

I'm also pretty sure that circumcising is another American thing. They used to do it many years ago to prevent boys from masturbating.
It used to be normal back then and like all traditions people just stuck with it. These days it has no value and pro-circumcision people make up invalid arguments.
It's just another useless tradition.

the theory is that the foreskin holds fluids in, meaning that you have more time to be exposed to the virus. on the other hand, without the foreskin, the thinner skin behind the glans is exposed, and can become irritated, meaning higher chance of infection there. but STIs are rare enough in the US that you're better off just wearing a condom and not worrying about it.

Yeah it's clearly not that big a risk, just keep yourself clean and make sure you know who you're putting it in to.

But...both me and my parents were born in America and I'm not....

Is there something wrong with me? ;_;

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Definitely not. It is an unnatural and ridiculous religious ideology that forces the individual to deal with the ramifications and consequences of a belief system they are too young and unable to understand. I was circumsized at birth. My brother chose to be at age 13, I heard it hurt like hell but respect he made the decision himself as a religious individual whereas a religious tradition was forced upon me at birth and I ended up an atheist. How is that fair??

It isn't.

I still don't get why it's even a religious thing why would God or whatever give us foreskin if it was bad?
Basically someone at some point decided they don't like the look of it or someone's got infected so they decided to incorporate it, most likely.

I'd be very pissed off if it had been done to me it's obviously not something that can be reversed and is unnecessary.

Should it just be banned at birth? I think so, religion is no reason for it to have to be done, it's not like it makes you give a damn about the religion.
