Social opinions on penis characteristics are quite troublesome; unrealistic expectations from both sides just mean that everything's just a hassle. How did the discussion evolve into how long a person can last during sex? Seems a little strange, but whatever.

I think it's a bit ironic since the thread is about social perceptions involving sex. This just proves that we have yet another stigma on our hands. |

Hahaha. That's great, you just made my day. Seriously, I personally could care less about boasting and crap like that. I think it's fine a guy has an ego in some fashion, but just don't go too far with it... especially about their penis too. I roll my eyes when I hear it, some times I feel the urge to kick them there. I know mean and probably uncalled for, but from where I came from I heard it all the time fro as long as I remember. As for the sex comment... I lasted beyond the Ten minute mark, but I realized how out of shape I was. |

I agree. There is such thing as sex lasting "too long". Not to really get too graphic, but if it lasts too long or if there's too much friction, I usually end up getting dry and sex begins to hurt. A woman's most sensitive area is actually outside and around the vagina anyway, therefore a lot of women don't orgasm from penetration alone. Their "outer area" needs some sort of stimulation as well in order for them to fully enjoy sex in the physical way. EDIT: I changed the topic title so it is more of a universal topic about sex. Well that's you lot isn't it, you probably have less free time than me and my girlfriend or maybe we're just weird. So far as I know girls round here are disappointed with like 20 minute sessions figured that was global, other than for older folk perhaps. Anyway we got to duration because most guys with big penises think they don't have to try as hard because since it's so big, penetration is enough for the girl to climax, few thrusts and that's all she needs. Which just isn't the case unless she's abnormally sensitive. A big one isn't some privilege that means people have to serve your needs and bow down to. Considering the title change, how does sex feel for guys? The way people talk about it I thought it'd be the most pleasurable thing ever in terms of physical pleasure but for me it's just like...ok, I could live without it. There's plenty of nice feelings to be had but hardly seems worth obsessing over and only using people for it. I find completing a game or something way more satisfying to be honest. |

I hope you all realize that "sex" is just used for procreation.Yes It is true that "sex" can be used for satisfying a persons "sexual pleasure" but those "pleasures" can be achieved to alternative "methods" also. So at the end of the day "penis characteristics" does not really matter......"Sex" is primarily used for procreation. |

In this day and age not really. Fairly sure the majority just have sex for fun and pleasure and eventually babies, in poorer countries where they need kids to help work farms and such maybe but that's probably in the minority. China probably keeps it being for fun in the majority since they're not allowed many kids. But yeah it is mostly for pleasure people have it. EDIT and in this case characteristics do matter as most people want to make love with an attractive one, who would enjoy doing it with a weirdly shaped diseased looking thing for example

I could live without sex, but when it's good it's good. I've had sex so many times and for so long in one day (multiple times) that my penis started to really ache and I couldn't go anymore. That was when I was at the top of my game in terms of stamina for that sort of thing. She wore me completely out, but then she's a marathon runner so I'd expect her to have more stamina than me, and females in general (from personal experience) tend to be able to "go" a lot more often than guys. She's the only one I've had such chemistry and enjoyment with. Sex is fantastic when both participants understand the other person's desires. On the other hand, it's not so great when one partner is unwilling to satisfy the other, whether from fear or selfishness. I've had partners who finish before me and then just lie there like, "Uh, I'm done, so..." and it's not fun. I at least try to keep going after I've finished if my partner still needs to. Then there are ones who simply don't even try, as in they expect you to give it to them but when you ask they're like, "lolno." That's mainly an oral thing from my experience, but it can apply to certain other acts in bed as well that I should probably keep to myself for the PG-13 crowd. Inexperience can either hamper or actually improve a session too. Sometimes it's difficult to get the hang of things when the other person doesn't know what to do, but if they're willing to learn then it can become a fun time. But if not, and they're being stubborn, then it just becomes one of those awkward moments where you don't even want to do it anymore. I suppose how much you like the person is also a pretty big factor (or can be). I've been with several people that have just been "booty calls," so I wasn't as invested in the experience and it really didn't mean much. The woman I'm with now, though, I've got such a connection to her that sex is better than incredible. Too bad she's 1300 miles away.

Someone hit the sweet spot. Girls tend to like above average I think. Not freakish big, which some girls are indeed into, but everyone doesn't want the same old same old. A bit above average. I think 8 is the sweet spot. Where damn he's big but he's not killing me. But inches is not as important as thickness I would thick. It's one thing to samurai a girl and another to fill her all the way up. I think the thicker the better until you get to some freakish stuff. As men we promote it because everyone would think it would be awesome to have a 10 inch johnson and destroy chicks, that's awesome bro talk right there, but in a real relationship you'd probably have to be real gentle all the time. I would think the bigger you are the worse bjs are as well, having a regular size allows for better bjs, girl can choke on that thing. |

Was this the topic where we discussed circumcised vs uncircumcised penises? I think it was. I just found this quote: "He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 23:1) So yeah.... All I can make from this is pretty much Christianity prohibiting circumcision... Doesn't this quote completely debunk the religious argument for circumcision? |

Yes, I remember using this quote in debates with Christians several times. However, I think that mostly applies to his penis being cut off, not simply the foreskin. And the "stones" is obviously a reference to the testicles. I know in other translations, this exact passage is translated as "if he has his testicles crushed". Yes, stones refer to testicles. Basically if you kick someone in the balls and the balls are slightly damaged, then the victim can't enter the church anymore. |
