I think it depends on how much was donated ![]() You know... If someone donated $1,000, they would be running the place

Hah, sure Rogue would give up power for a measly 1000 dollars. Also, I'm sure you'll cap somehow, aside from ads. |

I've always viewed Elite and Donators as "equal". Pretty much the only difference is that elites can see elite section, while donators can see the donator section. Both can edit their own topic titles, close their own topics etc etc. Admin > Super Mod > Forum Mod > Legend > Donator ~ Elite > Member > Probation > Suspended ~ Banned > GTFO |

I bet the elite section is active though unlike the donator section. |

Legends also have the ability to view past Elite voting topics including their own, Elites cannot do that. |

I think certain Elites are chosen by the admins or something. |

Being an elite isn't mandatory, but chosen Legends usually are because it takes years before you're made Legend. |

Legends are people who have shown a massive amount of dedication to the forum, always been friendly, been in good terms with the moderation and administrative team, and been an overall good member. Time on the forums has little to do with it, however they are usually Elite's before promoted to Legend. For example, Cal is a 2011 member yet he was promoted to Legend, I'm from 2010 but I am still Elite. Time is irrelevant for a member to be considered for Legend. |

I don't really see how this is a forum discussion to be honest. Other than saying Super Mods have a greater scope of responsibility and the ability to ban/warn/suspend people and Forum Mods just moderate specific sections with a slightly reduced level of tools at their disposal, there is nothing else to discuss. In terms of actual 'power' (power being defined as the ability to actually enforce rules and moderate the forum) there is only really 3 sets of groups with power; Admins, Super Mods and Forum Mods. Admins are at the top of that chain since they can do basically everything that the admin CP allows, Super Mods are in the middle and Forum Mods have the least amount for the reasons I outlined above. Elites, Legends, Donators and what have you have no power whatsoever to do anything, the only actual difference between them is that there's just another section for them to see and that is it. They're just glorified versions of members for one reason or another. |
