So Mercenary Tao is stronger than Master Roshi, correct? Is it enough of a gap for him to kill Roshi like he did General Blue? |

I think Tao is stronger than Roshi before the 22nd tournament. Roshi trained afterwards and got a bit stronger, plus he can increase his strength in general like he did against Tien. As for Tao fighting him pre 22nd tourney, I think Roshi would put up much more of a fight than General Blue. Edited by POOHEAD189, May 17 2014, 03:01 AM.

That's definitely believable, I wouldn't want Master Roshi to be fodder to him at any point in the series haha. |

Yeah, I don't think he could kill him like he did with General Blue. Also Master Roshi has a lot more skill than General Blue. |

Roshi is stronger than Blue , but he wouldn't stand a chance against Tao , perhaps not touching him evidenced by Goku's fight who was rough equal to Jackie or stronger (a theory of Goku getting a zenkai post Muscle tower is debatable). |

Chain: Roshi (22nd TB) > Mercenary Tao > Roshi (21st TB) Pretty much what you should believe (I know that sounds elitist, but it's progressive plot) |

Nothing wrong with sounding elitism , as long as you don't interpreted arrogance. |

Elitism can only be seen in a topic where there is no fact. I view this power chain as fact, Emmeth, so don't worry about it. |

Ok, I actually didn't know Roshi got stronger as time went on, I thought he just stayed consistent with his power. |

The speech is articulated , because killer Tao seems much more powerful in appearance, but the turtle hermit hides his true power and ability shows it only on two occasions, one to extinguish the flames at the Gyumao's castle and then to turn off the moon at 21 tenkaichi . This means that the final match of Roshi Vs Goku has never been seriously until Goku became Ozharu in fact the main reason of his participation in the tournament was to test the progress made by his students . |
