Also, i'm not very fond of the art style in the show. If the art style doesn't click with me, it's hard to get invested in a series. I also haven't gone through much of Bleach. From what I hear, it starts off pretty good for the first saga before it becomes lackluster. And then there's Naruto which i'm very familiar with. Part 1 of the Manga/Anime was awesome but I can't say the same thing for it's s* melodramatic sequel that I despise so dearly. I'm personally into more older animes that I saw as a kid like DBZ, Gundam Wing, Ruroni Kenshin, and others. Those animes from the 90's tend to be great IMO. Also, the moment I started going through YYH in 2011, I couldn't bring myself to stop watching the series. I literally went through all the episodes in a week after seeing the first episode lol. I fell in love as soon as I saw the first episode lol. Yusuke was different from most Shonen protagonists which was something very unique about the show an had one of the best casts of main characters in it. Guess were all different. I understand questioning my statement, since usually anime adaptations are worse than the Manga it's based on... But the YYH Manga's art is actually a lot worse than even One Piece's... It gets really bad at times. And during the Makai Tournament, all of the battles except for the final battle between Yusuke and Yomi. This seriously upset me when I first found this out. YYH would have even been one of my favorite series if not for this. I won't blame you for getting upset about this either. Edited by Big Green The Yoshi, May 16 2014, 12:50 PM.
