Seriously though. (Don't get it twisted , the title might sound not seriously , but i am) I'm a huge.. if not the biggest fan of DBZ. But for me , its horrible compared to other animes. I am ashamed when I talk about it with my friends. I don't like it that much anymore. The show is poor compared to other animes. I will debate about it though.. but.. idk. Edited by Alex D. How? I've seen a good amount of animes and I can still say I like dbz the most. Attack on Titan for me could be on par if they made another season. I don't see how dbz is bad compared to other animes. Sure there's a inconsistencies but a lot series have inconsistencies. Most dbz fight scenes are pretty good too |

Yeah, I don't feel the same. I've been watching since 98 and am still a big fan, and I've seen many other animes. The fighting, the character design, the forms, power ups, pure badassery of enemies and heroes, etc, are second to none. The plot and character development are underrated as well. |

I admit I've lost a bit of interest lately, but I still enjoy debating DB/Z and even GT. Once DB Kai Boo arc is released with subs, I'll be watching everything from start to finish again. |

Personally I think DBZ is one of the best anime/manga to debate. However, it is lacking heavily in comparison to other Shonens. FMA for one is leagues beyond DBZ. Heck I even think Black Cat was a much better show. |

There are a lot of mangas and Animes that are far better than DBZ, not that DBZ is bad because at the very least it gives entertainment and in the long run that's what matters. Heck I'd rather see a badly done but entertaining thing then a well done but boring as hell thing. But there are so many things that are so much better and put in so much more effort. I honestly implore many of you to step up your knowledge and look at other works. Fullmetal Alchemist, Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel, Fate/Zero, Chobits, Elfen Lied Manga, From The New World and **** load more. You should really try to expand your knowledge on these material. Not just these Shounen manga, but Shounen, Seinen, Shoujo, Visual Novels, Sound Novels, Light Novels and you really start to get a new understanding of implication of different works that are associated with a wide array of ages, genders and audiences. |

I actually agree with you. DBZ is good if you want a quick fix of power balls and a slug fest, but compared to more recent anime in plot depth, it's mediocre at best. I absolutely love DBZ, but It actually barely cracks my top ten for best anime series. Just because I love it doesn't mean that it's good. |

I like DBZ for what it is It's not Complicated and it's not complex. So what? I enjoy it despite being simple. Sometimes you could just enjoy the simple things in life. |

its not as deep or the story line might be as rich or in detail/graphic ect..... but w/e, its good regardless but i mean if u compare it to other anime/manga that are as popular and similar category(shounen) how deep and how big is the story of bleach or naruto or something i wouldn't put those too much higher then dbz honestly, there all simple to grasp for the most part but if u go to some others then sure but its not a big deal really if u dont think its as entertaining i can see that and its fine, db has been around more then most of us have been alive Edited by Havoc_Wreaker, May 15 2014, 08:38 PM.
