OT: I don't think 18 was holding back on the kids if she had to actually try against the Kids. She's not going to hold back against some person that can apparently fly and can match her in speed.

She's not a dumb fighter. It doesn't matter if the opponent is weaker than Freeza or not.

We forgot to add that in each of our posts Naked Snake in the tournament. : Whatever the gap is it must be smaller than SSJ Vegeta and #18 since she was more than happy to tank his attacks to show superiority (as with Mr Satan later on) but with the kids she was forced to dodge.

How is she controlling , I don't get it. 18 is going to fight a final match , she doesn't know who Mighty mask is , admits that the mask has strong powers , knows that his daughter is watching him , only chance to win the prize money.. and she is going to hold back? I don't see the logic sorry. I haven't used Daiz source , because I wanted a fair debate but: Daizenshuu 7 At the Youth Division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, he defeated Goten and won the championship. He and Goten then participated in the Adult Division as Mighty Mask, demonstrating strength on par with No. 18's, until she managed to see through their disguise. He passed through the finals at the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai, but the tournament's final results are unknown. (Daizenshuu 4, p.123-124)

Why am I not getting through to you? Also, "demonstrating strength on par with No. 18's" is so vague. It could mean exactly what you're trying to say, or it could just mean at that given point. Assume it's 18's full power, while it doesn't contradict the manga, it does contradict BoG.

Never once do we see a cyborg seem to power up, only use more effort on their part. It would make sense in this regard because of No. 18's fight. She comes and as far as she knows, she just needs to take care of Satan and this random masked man whom she can't sense because...well she doesn't know how to. She thinks she's facing two normal humans. in any other case, the moment the kids attacked, No. 18 should've just been knocked around at least initially because she shouldn't have been able to withstand the attack. Because the kids are coming at her full force as much as that costume will allow. If No. 18 has suppressed herself to the level she thinks is going to be enough to fight humans, she shouldn't have been able to control the fight against the kids as quick as she did. I'll use Goku vs Vegeta as an example. When Goku first uses Kaioken against Vegeta, Vegeta is unprepared for it and gets a quick beating. He soon gets his control back and takes the advantage again. He wasn't ready for Goku's initial attack. No. 18 was apparently already prepared for the kids despite thinking she's just facing a normal silly looking human. A person she probably thinks is weaker than Mr. Satan. It makes me believe as I've said that No. 18 is constantly using her 100% power but doesn't necessarily use her full effort and so she has to pull back her punches. It might explain why it was so much harder for her to hold back on the machine when she's pumping out those 710...she can't just suppress her ki she's got to suppress her effort. That's my take on it.

But you shouldn't follow BoG , instead just follow the manga.
