During the Android arc Vegeta was not really inferior to #18 but after he wasted ki on the door and two Big Bang (weaker versions) he still spent a lot of ki and add on to the fact that #18 was taunting Vegeta into fighting even more harder to get him to waste his ki even faster. And after #18 says they'll get serious a slightly more fatigue Vegeta, he still manages his own a little. So I look at it like this: SSJ Vegeta (Fresh) > Lazuli (#18) >>/~ SSJ Vegeta (wasted ki) |

Nah if Vegeta was stronger even by a small amount then he would have killed her. 18 clearly wasn't putting much effort into the fight which can be seen by her facial expression. If you compare her fight with Vegeta to the fight with the kids, it becomes clear that 18 was simply toying with Vegeta. It's true that he did waste some energy by going on the offensive, but he never had the power to do anything to her in the first place. |

I always thought 18 wasn't that much stronger than vegeta. I don't think vegeta was stronger. Toriyama definitely wanted the fans to think 18 was stronger |

I'm not to sure going off her facial expression is a 100% trust, she has unlimited energy so she will be forever at her best. And her little quote saying something like "So is Goku stronger than you (Vegeta)?" she already knew he had a grudge towards him and using Goku as the measuring stick, she fooled him by playing with his pride in his thinking he's stronger than Goku. Edit: SSJVegito I agree mostly, I think Vegeta couldn't win but he had a slight advantage to be able to fight her on a even playing feel. I think it's similar to Kid Buu vs SSJ3 Goku tbh. Chapter: 353 (DBZ 159), P12.4-6 Context: after Trunks says Vegeta seems to be doing OK fighting No.18 Piccolo: “Vegeta’s going to be killed…[ ] Watch…Bit by bit, the android is starting to push him back. It’s because his enemy’s power never falls at all, while Vegeta’s stamina falls the more he moves.” You missed that one. Vegeta isn't truly noted to be weaker but just losing his stamina faster which will result in a weaker ki output. |

I think the pure fact that she was able to put both SSJ Trunks and Vegeta on the ground says enough. That feat doesn't even deal with stamina. |

Though it was done after Vegeta was nearly worn out, he wasn't even close to what he had when he fought #19. SSJ Trunks was KO'd not Vegeta, he got back up despite nearly fatigue to the max. |

The most Vegeta was able to do tear up some of #18's clothes. #18, on the other hand, was able to cause considerable damage with just a few hits. Just one headbutt caused quite a bit of superficial damage, whereas Vegeta's attacks, for the most part, didn't even do that. She's a Cyborg, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't show any signs of damage or pain. Vegeta's serious expression and lack of feats in the battle, combined with #18s almost bored-like expression and her feats in the battle, show that #18 had a sizeable advantage in their scuffle. |

I suppose but I feel he might have a slight advantage. SSJ Vegeta: 100 Lazuli: 98 - 99.5 Edit: Naked Snake Superficial? He was stunned but it's not like he was handicapped from just that. Vegeta managed quite well, and you say just because she's a cyborg doesn't mean too much but it does Vegeta clearly stated he couldn't tell if she was taking damaged moments before he attempted to blast her. Chapter: 376 (DBZ 182), P13.6 Context: as Vegeta challenges Cell No.18: “He’s a damn fool…! Does he think that someone who was helpless against me could do anything against Cell the way he is now…?!” Pretty straightforward ^ Chapter: 377 (DBZ 183), P2.3-4 No.16: “Wait…We’ll move once they’ve started fighting. It’s odd, though…Vegeta’s fighting power has gone up quite a lot since before…” No.18: “No way. It couldn’t have changed in such a short time. And he didn’t look like he was holding back when he fought me…” It is clear that Vegeta did not hold back against 18. If they were evenly matched, Vegeta would have done more than cosmetic damage. Just consider a fight like Piccolo vs 17. Both of these fighters were dead even and they were trading blows. 18 was strong enough that she could just defend the whole time, she didn't even need to fight back. Not to mention the fact that 17 is only a small amount stronger than 18, and Piccolo was equal to him. Vegeta felt utterly surpassed when Piccolo powered up after letting Cell get away. 18 ~< Piccolo ~ 17 Chapter: 364 (DBZ 170), P14.4 Vegeta: “They’re all just dicking around with me…! Easily surpassing the Super Saiyan, the greatest in the universe…!” |

The many outweighs the few. Statements for 18 is a lot more thant against. She has a pretty good lead on him power-wise. |

I'm pretty sure that's not confirmed. Android 17 could be twice as strong, if not stronger than #18 without contradicting anything. |
