Limited edition vol.1 book only 5000 made; Just checking how rare these are

Hey guys was cleaning out my room and found a dbz vol.1 graphic novel limited edition 2-- of 5000 made i had bought years ago in america was looking for more on ebay here in the uk to get a rough price to sell it for and coudent find any, how rare are these?

Is it hardcover?

If so, that's Viz's "Collector's Edition" reprint from 2008. They were celebrating their fifth anniversary of Shonen Jump (their print magazine edition which doesn't exist anymore). They also put out hardcover, "Collector's Edition" versions of volume 1 of both DB & DBZ.

They weren't particularly "rare", mainly because no-one really cared about them at the time. They weren't anything special (still censored, for example) and the regular, paperback editions were still flooding the market.

I don't have mine in front of me to confirm what you have is definitely what I'm describing (I don't remember a print count being listed, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have one), but it makes sense.
